The map looks small compared to San Andreas..

SA - 13Square Miles
GTA V - 50 Square Miles

That's really disappointing if true.

I know everyone is saying its bigger, it's just SA had 3 different islands with different scenery, I hope GTA V can be as interesting with the ammount of land they put in it. For example, you could have a map 10 sq miles long and packed with fun stuff, things to see and do with new, different locations etc, but 100 sq miles of boring repetative terrain. I highly doubt GTA V will be like that, but we won't know until we've played it and compared it to past GTA games.

at least we know it wont be as bad as GTA IV

GTA IV was way different to other GTA's. I liked GTA IV, but nowhere near as much as I liked the others. The only reason I liked GTA IV was the graphics and all the little things that included in one of the previous GTAs like San Andread, would have made it my favorite one of all. I hated the character you were and tha dark, gloomy feel that it always gave you. New York isn't that bad for gods sakes, and I'm a Welshman struggling with depression.

The thing that I did not like was the story. The city itself was fun to play in, but small. It was always my friends and I playing that. The only reason I still have it is because the multiplayer

I didn't really like the story either. A few bits here and there were good, biut the majority, not. I didn't play much multiplayer in IV, but I spent over 5 years in GTA:SA's PC multiplayer SA:MP, made so many friends, uncluding a possibly suicidal 30 year old cop from the U.S that missed his police bike and lost his kid and wife. GTA:SA had more of an impact on my life than anything else in my life, I miss rollin patrol.

Apparently it's something like (And these numbers are lower than higher the expectation) the land mass is ten times bigger and the ocean is 3 times bigger.

The game looks great. I'm looking forward to it, and forsee it to be one of the biggest launches in the past few years, the biggest launch for the GTA series and perhaps the best GTA game released so far.

But if these 'maps' are real, I don't believe for a second that the map is 10 times bigger than any GTA released, let alone bigger than multiple previous maps in previous games.

I don't know if this map is correct or if it's a partial, because I remember at least one other island, but yep it's gonna be the biggest yet, there's even talk of even more of the buildings being enterable which is impressive since that was practically every building in San Andreas.

Well, I hope so.

I'm all hyped up again. Less than a week to go now.
