indeed they did. though they stopped using as many identical clones because it started to cause problems

but the point of this arguement is that the helmet the girl is wearing does not make sense in regards to darth vader

Behold, Clone Troopers and (the recently named) Darth Vader.

ok
A. he doesn't have his black suit
and B. look at the troopers behind him
they don't have the big center mohawk thing

Okay, so let me ask you this then:
Are they completely different people just because they're wearing different clothes? At this point in the movie, he has already been named "Darth Vader." Just because he doesn't have the suit, doesn't mean he's NOT Darth Vader.
Same goes for the clones, even MORE so. They're all clones! The clones "with the center mohawk thing" are the same exact person as the clones wearing any other helmet. They're all still based off Jango Fett's DNA.
To me it seems like your argument is: "You met Samuel L. Jackson (for example) yesterday wearing a top hat, but today he's a completely different person because he's wearing a baseball cap."

ok, the only thing i was trying to say is that the .gif above is of darth vader (in his suit, not as anakin just turned dark side) is meeting someone wearing a clone trooper helmet, a helmet that was only used in Episode 2, before he was even darth vader at all.

if she was wearing a storm trooper helmet then it would be fine, seeing as the darth vader in the suit only came in contact (as far as movies go) with storm troopers

it was just a small detail that bugged me

i mean, if you are gonna make (what was probably a video at one point, turned .gif) of someone in a full darth vader costume at the airport, you'd think they would at least get a better/more accurate helmet

There were still Clone Troopers until halfway through the Empire's reign.

That was the Culling of the Jedi Temple, and it was "technically" still during the Republic. Once the Empreror consolidated his rule, they got Shiny New Armor.

yeah, that would make sense, since that mission/map took place in episode 2

but still, i don't think any clones with that helmet came in contact with darth vader

Not to be "that guy" either, but I'd just be satisfied if I had a girl to react that way when I got home.

well, darth vader only worked with stormtroopers... so a clone trooper meeting him doesn't make much sense does it?

true, they stayed around a bit before they changed to stormtroopers, but ( i didn't mention this before) those clone trooper helmets were only used in Episode 2, by Episode 3 they had changed the way the helmets looked to be more stormtrooper-ish

so wearing an Episode 2 clone trooper to meet darth vader, who only came in contact with Episode 3 clone troopers and stormtroopers still doesn't make sense
