Well, if you're a bible thumper then a whale swallowed that guy and he lived in its stomach for quite a while.
If you a bible thumper then you can also believe that pinnochio's dad got eaten by a whale.
If you are a logical person then you wouldn't go so far to believe things that you question
If you are a logical person you wouldn't need to know how much a whale could swallow to understand the danger of having a killer whale drag you under water, inducing panic, and therefore the inevitability of drowning, regardless if the whale eats you or not.
I see that you are not logical.

Because you're any smarter than a "Bible Thumper". I'm Agnostic, and I know Christians with PhDs in Biology, Astronomy, and Mathematics. Religion does not equal stupidity. Go **** yourself.

Buddy the stories in the bible are fables. They're exaggerated stories about simple things.

Exactly it's about the ******* message not the logic of the story.

The Garden of Eden can be interpreted as a story about doing the right thing and avoiding the temptation of following and doing something blindly.
But then again religion wouldn't exactly be existent if that really was the moral now was it.
