wouldn't your restaurant take 18% for having a party over 10 people??

my buffet doesn't take a tip out when they first pay. We have to remind the managers to push the customers to leave a tip if it's a big party.

some places don't force it if they walk in I think

no, if they walk in and there are a lot of people like say over ten almost all restaurants... actually I'm sure all restaurants do it it's because what if no tip is left the waiters are ****** out of their money it's auto.

didn't even realize I didn't log in.

anyway, I work at a restaurant, and I don't believe we do it. then again, I don't actually serve those tables, and they might add 18% on without me noticing. all I know is we make it VERY clear to reserving tables that we do it.
