Thank Joss Whedon. He also wrote Toy Story, The Avengers, and The Cabin in the Woods.

There were a number of writers credited for Toy Story, Joss didn't do it by himself.

I love the guy, but just wanted to clarify.

Don't you mean Directed? Also, he did Alien Resurrection, to which I can't forgive... if it wasn't for the Avengers being SO AWESOME

He's a writer in just about everything he does. But he also directs and produces quite a bit too.

All his other work is great, yes. Just one thing I want to discuss, not criticize as much. He claims that Resurrection was bad because he was directing with badly written material, and your comment provoked me to look up whether he wrote it. Turns out, except for the characters, he wrote the entirety of it. Just something that makes me think "Why?" you know?

Everyone has an off time. Let us just be glad he didn't turn into M. Night Shyamalan. If Resurrection was his lowest point, that's decent compared to some other **** that has been made. Just saying.

actually, he wrote it, and then the director took it in another direction. He can't be held responisble for that.

Thats just like that line in x-men, where storm goes: Do you know what happens to a toad when it gets hit by lightning? The same thing that happens to everything else.

Its not a bad line perse, its the delivery that kills it

here, have a nice read

Yeah, but that line was because Halle Berry is a terrible actress in almost everything she appears in (except Monster's Ball, where she was good but not Oscar-worthy, which for some reason she got)

Very true, and I don't understand why I'm being thumbed down for simply pointing out a black mark for him that was also a huge black mark for my favourite Sci-Fi franchise...

I thumbed you up to counteract the red. My best guess is there is a lot of love for Joss Whedon here is all.
