People always think they're defending Daft Punk against Kanye when people say stuff like that. It's funny considering Daft Punk has no problem with him and even produced half of his album.

I honestly don't like rap, so my opinion is a bit biased. But saying the original song is **** doesn't make much sense considering kanye's version is pretty much just him rapping over it.

Well now, you see this is no ordinary coolness. This level of sheer cool can only be found deep in the Appalachian mountains. You must take a path lead by a Sherpa through 3 days of rough and vigorous mountainous terrain in order to reach the location, the fountain of cool. This fountain is very hard to reach and has only been seen by few. It is a perilous journey, and there isn't a very large chance of survival. Many die in search of the eternal coolness which is the fountain of cool. Jadewest set out on june 3rd in the year of our lord, 2005. Jade faced many hardships along the way, his Sherpa contracted bronchitis half way through the journey. Jade had to carry him over 100 miles over mountains and through valleys. The odds were against him, but he never gave up. He had reached the fountain, by god he had done it. He drank for hours, gallon after gallon, and he started to feel different, accepted, cool. He then, with his new found coolness, gave the Sherpa open chest surgery and saved his life, he then picked him up and walked over 400 miles out of the mountains until he reached a small town of monks in the mountains. There he stayed and studied their ways for over a year, learning humility as to not abuse his coolness. He has now returned home, spreading coolness among the people of the internet.

Just because a song isn't fast and overly complex doesn't mean it's boring.

Boring is completely opinion. So to me, yes, a song that isn't fast and overly complex (and very very repetitive) is boring.

Most house music is fairly repetitive, that's how it is typically made. So yeah, you can go ahead and think it's boring as ****, but it's not really, it's just not your style of music. There is a difference.
