maybe it's because I'm 18 and so are my friends, or that my mom already swears like a sailor

#169 to #121 - Rascal (06/20/2013) [-]
Use punctuation. Otherwise, it looks like you're saying you're not 12 ears old yet.
Now, repeat after me:
"I am no longer 12, yet I choose not to swear in front of my parents. It's a respect thing".

**** man, we swear like it's going out of style. My 80 year old grandmother swears more than Samuel L Jackson.

A lot of us develop some sort of relationship with our parents when we're old enough and just swear at each other. Kinda like when you swear at your friends. You don't actually mean it, you just talk like that to each other.

That moment where you've grown to only swear when you're in need of some serious emphasizing and not just because you're "old enough" to do it.

Picture unrelated.
User avatar #111 to #62 - vatra (06/20/2013) [-]
It's a force of habit for me, I started when I was young because my parents told me not to, yet that didn't stop them, now, it is just ingrained in to my vocabulary, sometimes I have to pull back and remember that some people are offended by it.

I've always found it weird how it is with curse words in USA. I lived there for a while and you cant say 'ass' class.
Are you SERIOUS?
Worst part is people just say 'crap' instead of **** , or I even heard 'fugde' instead of **** . Like everyone KNOW what you mean, but its like they think the word itself is evil.

Where i come from we curse alot and it is not considered very rude. Actually its not noticed even in school.

They are only giving the words power, if everyone used them noone would care.

You haven't been to my house. I curse like a ******* sailor in front of my daughters and their boyfriends.

Interesting that my daughter's wont say **** ...I've even tried to bribe them. They say something about "respecting my father". What?! I am your FATHER! Want to respect me? Dump that loser boyfriend!

Cried like a bitch when Tommy and his friends who went to his party all got a power ranger action figure.. I'm 22 now, but it still hurt Tommy, it still hurt.
