It's due to the lighting in the room. Sitting here in my own room, I see that my walls are white, but when I look up they take on a more yellow color because of my lightbulb.

Homicidal and suicidal thoughts are not to be taken lightly.

If you are thinking about killing yourself and the other parent of your child just so he can be Spiderman you should talk to a professional.

If you can't do that, at least talk to your brother, Ben.

what kinda architectural failure resulted in that single pillar?
User avatar #75 to #59 - cormy (06/14/2013) [-]
Typically behind those there are still beams going under the main supporting steel I-beam of the house, which spreads all of the weight of the house unto those pillars and the concrete foundation around the house. The floor joices all settle on that steel beam and the foundation.
It's not a failure, it's a failsafe. The main beam can definitely take the weight of the house however it's good to have a little pressure underneath it so it doesn't slowly bend over time. And by slowly I mean like 1cm per 10 years or something.
