If he takes a dive like this then I will. It doesn't matter how much muscle you have, if you act like that you're a ***** .

Probably not, but then he goes out onto the pitch, probably falls down crying a lot then....

Those people should be banned from professional football for the rest of treir lives. Lets see how long this behavior will stay that way.

Major League football, yes.

Thats why its best to stick to little league and just clubs and **** . You know, people who play football cuz they love it.

Not cuz they want a fat check and a ******* trophy.
#81 - mystifizinski (05/25/2013) [-]
if you watch football in the lower regional leagues you see what football is.
a few years ago, my favorite club, fc sankt pauli was in the third german league, we fans were sitting on wood planks and watching our club fighting on a muddy place. st pauli beat some professional clubs like bayern munich and werder bremen, and 2 years ago, maybe the most importan victory, st pauli won the city derby against the hamburg sv with 0:1.
st pauli is a quartier in hamburg where i live. theres a strong feeling of companion ship when st pauli plays. so if someone tries to tell me, football is **** , they never really experienced what football really is.
but the exact same is possible with basketball, baseball, goddammit, even with tennis.
pic related, its the stadium of st pauli.

TL;DR: there is no superior sport, the best sport is the one you love.

St. Pauli is an awesome club.
User avatar #153 to #150 - mystifizinski (05/25/2013) [-]
yes it is. where do you come from if you know st pauli?
#154 to #153 - christmouth (05/25/2013) [-]
I'm from the Faroe Islands, but I follow German football, because I'm a Bayern Munchen fan.
User avatar #155 to #154 - mystifizinski (05/25/2013) [-]
then congrats on the champions league trophy...
User avatar #156 to #155 - christmouth (05/25/2013) [-]
Thanks man. How are St. Pauli doing now?
User avatar #157 to #156 - mystifizinski (05/25/2013) [-]
they just managed to stay in the second league...
the whole season they didnt played really good, and then in the last two matches, where they had to win to stay, they won 5:1 (!) against braunschweig and 2:1 against kaiserslautern who are both (or at least braunschweig, because kaiserslautern still has to play one game) going to play in the first league next year. sometimes i dont understand this club, but st pauli isnt famous for its good football, its famous for the fans and for the attitude ;)
User avatar #158 to #157 - christmouth (05/25/2013) [-]
Okey, good that they survived. I think that they belong in the Bundesliga, because it's such a charming and special club.
User avatar #159 to #158 - mystifizinski (05/25/2013) [-]
i think they deserve it because it would be a success for the players. but the problem with the first bundesliga is, that st pauli would have to pay a lot and they had to buy new players who are good but dont match with st pauli. like i said, st pauli is about the attitude and not about the game quality. they already selled some real sympathic players like naki and asamoah (who scored against hsv) to buy better players.
and st pauli (the district st pauli aswell) are really "in". its a district where a lot of artists live because the appartments were cheap, then the rich kids moved there because its "cool" to live there and the houses and appartment-prices went up. i dont know if my father can pay the rent any longer...
so if they get in the first bundesliga, like 2011, all the cool kids will become st pauli-fans again and the ticket prices will go up and so on...

i hope you could follow me, because i often write really chaotic and im too tired to check my text again. ;)
User avatar #160 to #159 - christmouth (05/25/2013) [-]
oh, yeah I understand. It could probably change the club from what it represents. I really like them, they have something that is more important than playing professional football, it's more of a "cult" than a club, I think its supporters and the people around the club are fantastic.
It reminds me of our own national team. Our players are carpenters, car sellers, factory workers, policemen and so on, but when the nationalteams play, they go out to play against players like Schweinsteiger, Ibrahimovic, Pirlo and so on, and they're just regular people playing against professional football players, it's not about winning but to go out there to represent our country and try to play football.
#161 to #160 - mystifizinski (05/25/2013) [-]
this sounds exactly like st pauli except the national representing
i think i will follow the faroers games a little bit more from now on.

but now we just have fabian boll, a police man, left. all the other legends are gone
even benedikt pliquett, our goalkeeper, is most likely gone after this summer. he played against hsv in 2011 and was most responsible for the victory, he grew up in st pauli and is a member of the ultra fanbase usp pic related, it is him after the derby, and i think youll recognize the flag hes kicking ;)

User avatar #165 to #164 - mystifizinski (05/25/2013) [-]
did the faroer islands ever played in a world cup?
User avatar #166 to #165 - christmouth (05/25/2013) [-]
No, we have never played in any major competition, we still brag about our first match we ever played, which was in 1989, and we won 1-0 against Austria, so we aren't too good, but we play for the game, not for the win.We had a player called Rògvi Jacobsen, he scored three or two times in two matches against italy in 2008, anf he got pretty famous because of that. I think he got a contract with a Serie C team i nItaly after that, so we take what we can get.
User avatar #167 to #166 - mystifizinski (05/25/2013) [-]
thats nice, i hope you'll have success once after all. maybe not against germany, but i hope the faroer will beat another big football team in the next time
good night.

The greatest triumph for men is when we finally manipulated feminists to go against fellow females. Through underdressed sexy wrestling... we may have found the way.

He'd actually just had surgery, pinning his ear back and the opposing player knew this.
My friend had this done at high school and I guarantee you, it looks quite painful.
User avatar #80 to #79 - Boozehound (05/25/2013) [-]
If he had just had surgery for that then why the **** is he playing a game where you've got a good chance of heading the ball or it colliding with your ears?
User avatar #169 to #80 - kyoutu (05/25/2013) [-]
That's not the point, the point is the other guy shouldn't be intentionally hurting other players, pretty sure flicking someones ear isn't part of the game.

Still..if it was THAT tender an area then areas surrounding the ear would still be sore to touch. Like getting stitched on your knee, your whole area there is tender.

I call ***** on this one. Or if he had surgery then he shouldn't be on the pitch in the first place... **** him
