When I was studying abroad in Germany, my host family didn't even refrigerate their milk. They just left it on the counter. Within the first week I was there, I poured it into my coffee and it came out chunky.

Never again.
User avatar #39 to #1 - skullzero (04/30/2013) [-]
This makes no sense, you can't reseal it and you can't put it down after you open it...
User avatar #52 to #39 - primerpower (04/30/2013) [-]
think of a milk jug cut in half but sturdier. you put the opened bag in that and snip the two top coners off and put that **** in the fridge so it doesnt spoil
User avatar #97 to #52 - skullzero (04/30/2013) [-]
Or you can just cut all that **** out of the process and have it in cartons?

I saw a bag of milk in Sainsbury's, England. Needless to say I carried it around the store for a while, jiggling it.
#48 to #1 - EdwardNigma ONLINE (04/30/2013) [-]
You people always confused me with this "Bagged milk" ******** . If you drop that, it's going to ******* burst and that can not be easy to carry either. What the **** is so sickening about a normal solid container like a bottle or carton, that you have to go and use a damn bag?
User avatar #51 to #48 - primerpower (04/30/2013) [-]
can a carton, bottle or jug not break if dropped?
User avatar #53 to #51 - EdwardNigma ONLINE (04/30/2013) [-]
It seems like it would be less likely. And, at least where I live, they have handles, so you're also far less likely to drop the thing.
User avatar #55 to #53 - primerpower (04/30/2013) [-]
from my experience its actually fairly hard to drop a bag of milk as well, even before putting it in the bagged milk containment unit
#56 to #55 - EdwardNigma ONLINE (04/30/2013) [-]

btw americans this is how bagged milk works, you dont just open the bag and lie it down or anything you put it in this
#131 to #63 - zorororonoa (04/30/2013) [-]
Wait, so you get a bag of milk, put the bag, in a solid container, and pour? WHY NOT JUST PUT THE MILK IN A SOLID CONTAINER TO BEGIN WITH?
User avatar #132 to #131 - primerpower (04/30/2013) [-]
its cheaper to seal plastic around milk
#64 to #63 - EdwardNigma ONLINE (04/30/2013) [-]

User avatar #66 to #64 - primerpower (04/30/2013) [-]
look...i just live here i dont know the science behind bagged milk
#68 to #66 - EdwardNigma ONLINE (04/30/2013) [-]
Start a petition to fix it.

Because, look at this. It's simple, it's the epitome of milk transportation and usage. It's got a little handle for pouring, it's got a lid so it remains good, the shape makes easy pouring, it's ******* great. And one of these is 2 litres. You can also get bigger 3 litre ones and smaller 1 litre ones. Though the small ones don't have handles, you got a nice little grip, making it just as easy.

So go out there and start a petition. It shall be called "Container milk is comfortable and easy to wear."
User avatar #70 to #68 - primerpower (04/30/2013) [-]
how much is a 2 litre of jussed milk?

i can get 4 litres of bagged milk for like 4.50 though thats expensive milk...so get ready to have your mind blown...in my house i mix 1 bag of milk with powdered milk, yes powdered milk and it lasts longer than one bag

this is a "jug it" we have in the uk, you put the bag of milk in it, theres a plastic spout that pierces the bag and then you can reseal the jug. easy.
#94 to #50 - saladtongsofdeath (04/30/2013) [-]
then why not ******* buy a jug of milk?????

This is actually from an advert running in New Zealand. Selling a new type of bottle which lets no light in. The purpose of the glass cow was to suggest milk was never meant to see the light.
