ASIANS CAN ACTUALLY READ MINDS!!!!!!!!!!!
They can hear, and see what you're visually thinking.
This is the absolute complete truth!!!!!

Asians hide their mind reading abilities by a lot of them having completely expressionless faces so they don't accidently show facial expressions when people think things they don't like, find funny, astonishing, etc, and Asians segregate so their not nearly as susceptible to that happening.
Asians also segregate, and are untaltative to avoid accidently saying things that are similar to what people are thinking and going to say.

Try thinking, and visually picturing things that are as wild as you can when you are around Asians, and look for Asians who give people dirty/particular looks for what appears to be for completely no reason.

Not trying to start a rage war here, just asking a simple question.

Do the auto taunts not bother you?
I saw this game on Xbox marketplace and a friends told me about it and showed me a trailer and I was like "OhGODYES!"

We both play SF4, and we like it a whole lot, it just has a good flow and is rewarding if you do it right.

I got the demo, and switching to Injustice after SF, it just seems really clunky, and I wasn't too familiar with the controls, but after a while, the auto taunts and the lack of extensive technicality really bugged me and put me off getting the game. FYI I was playing WonderWoman and Batman, but it was much the same story, pull off a few moves > Forced to stand still and spout a "You're weak!" one liner. I'd be interested to know your thoughts :)
User avatar #80 to #76 - guymandude (04/27/2013) [-]
I think the demo playability was a bit different than the full version - perhaps the demo is a earlier version of the game. There are still auto taunts, but I have only noticed them when a fighter empties their opponent's first health bar. At that point, the opponent can't get up for a few seconds, and the fighter does his taunt. From what II have seen (and I have played a lot) the opponent never gets up before the taunt in finished.

Also, Netherrealm fighters, Street Fighter games, and especially Tekken games are a ll completely different animals. I personally Like Injustice, because the combos they tell you are easy, but learning a string of combos that flow is the hard part.
User avatar #191 to #80 - killerjhtwo ONLINE (04/27/2013) [-]
Interesting, I suppose it is a different way of punishing the knockdown. I'm just used to the knockdown/counter on SF. It felt so unnatural to do all the work for a knockdown and to stand there instead of further punishing my opponent. But to each his own I guess.
User avatar #194 to #191 - guymandude (04/27/2013) [-]
Yeah, I get that. I think they use the auto-taunt thing to give the players a break and a second to reset, since Injustice has no rounds, just extended health bars. At first the lack of rounds put me off, but then I began to really enjoy it because I felt like it fit well with the pace of the game.

Also, I don't mean to start a huge debate, but I probably will anyway, so I might as well just say it:
(SPOILER ALERT BELOW if you are someone who is that worried and still hasn't gotten more than halfway through the story yet)

I thought that Alt. Superman killed Captain Marvel (Shazam) far too easily. I don't follow that hero much, but I am pretty sure that once in that adult superhero state, the guy is at full power. Also, I believe that according to his and other DC comics, Shazam's strength and invulnerability were parallel to Superman's, Shazam just has different (and less) powers. So why was Superman Just able to grab him by the neck without Shazam easily getting out? I dunno, if I'm interpreting Shazam's abilities wrong then feel free to correct me here.
#42 to #38 - angelusprimus (04/27/2013) [-]
Shazam (I believe you mean Captain Marvel) and Superman are about equal in power. Nearly completely equal.
So it would be exactly like two strong large men fighting eachother. Their invournability mathched by their strength.
Normal man couldn't break Captain Marvel's neck but Superman is strong enough. Superman normally does not kill, so a fistfight between Captain Marvel and Superman is equal, but if one of them is willing to kill and other isn't, one who is has a clear advantage.
User avatar #45 to #42 - guymandude (04/27/2013) [-]
Yeah, I was kinda thinking that, but if you saw the scene I'm talking about (since you diidn't say if you've played the game or not), then the "freezing his mouth and lazering his skull" part seemed like exactly the point when Shazam would be ready to use deadly force.

also I very specifically referred to him as Captain Marvel in my first sentence with Shazam in parenthesis to show the other common name for him now. then I just continued to use that name because it was shorter.
#72 to #45 - angelusprimus (04/27/2013) [-]
billy is a boyscout to end all boyscourts. Its been mentioned a lot that he makes superman seem jaded by comparisement.
Billy just isn't a killer.
They had to really really change supes to make him a killer, but supes as a killer is freaking terryfying.
User avatar #59 to #45 - spiderfan ONLINE (04/27/2013) [-]
Billy Batson probably doesn't understand the concept of death. Also, when Superman grabbed his throat, it would have been a massive system shock for Shazam or whatever it is you want to call him.
User avatar #62 to #59 - guymandude (04/27/2013) [-]
I don't want to call him Shazam. That's his name now. So many people were calling him Shazam instead of Captain Marvel that they changed his name to Shazam for the New 52
User avatar #63 to #62 - spiderfan ONLINE (04/27/2013) [-]
They also renamed him in order to avoid a legal dispute with Marvel comics.
#69 to #63 - angelusprimus (04/27/2013) [-]
Which is kinda stupid since they and Marvel have a deal that they can call him Captain Marvel as long as they don't use that name as a name of the comic book.
Oh well...
User avatar #75 to #69 - spiderfan ONLINE (04/27/2013) [-]
Exactly. They can't use it on the comic book. If they call him Shazam, which makes perfect sense, they can put his name in the title.
#77 to #75 - angelusprimus (04/27/2013) [-]
Why is the name of the character in the title so important?
Best selling batman title? Detective comics.
Best selling superman title? Action comics.
Shazam has been a wizard that gave Billy his powers for over 70 years, why change it now? Its just stupid.

Superman is honestly probably the most powerful hero in the universe, even in the comics. His power is ridiculous, and is really only matched by other Kryptonians. When he gets even closer to earth's yellow sun, his power just increases. If he wanted, he could just fly into the sun (Which he has done in alternate universes in the DC comics) and become a god, because his Kryptonian DNA just allows him to do that. The only thing that makes Superman appear weak is that he's actually holding himself back most of the time, because he doesn't want to just destroy the earth on accident. Later, he even develops a decent resistance to Kryptonite, which just compounds on the list of things that make him so ridiculous. Sorry if I sound a bit excessive, but it's difficult sometimes to get people to understand just how expansive Supe's powers really are.
