Windows is kinda retarded. Fanboys, just joking. absolutely not OCOCOCOC.. Why would a firewll stop a trojan? That's a job for anti-virus software. It's like complaining that your front door has failed because burglars keep breaking in

If you are a Linux user than I can assume you are an intelligent person and know full well that the majority of people use Windows. I'm assuming you don't use Windows as that would defeat your own argument so I'm going to assume you are a Mac fag. Please leave the internet

*shout shout* AVG YOU ******** , IT HAS BEEN PROVEN TO HAVE BETTER SOFTWARE AND STOPS MORE VIRUSUS*shout shout*

AVG tries to bundle software with it, which should be an instant red flag, especially for an anti-virus program.

I've been using Avast! ever since I got my first pc (at least 5 years ago), and the only time it failed, it was a false positive that I reported, and fixed myself.

Nah, ESET or Kaspersky are the best on the market. Kaspersky has the best detection rate, but is slower. ESET is damn fast and has the 2nd highest detection rate.

actually, AVG was tested against them, it won, and unlike some of those, its free, so win win win

I highly doubt that. What alex said above, should be enough said.

^ Anon Speaks the truth.
All anti virus software that you pay for is a scam, Free versions of AVG, Avast, etc do just as good a job.

I worked in computer security for awhile and could easily write up virus that could bypass Kaspersky, Norton, ETC and I'm not Elite Haxzor. ( I know teenagers that can do the same.)

Common sense and computer knowledge is the best anti virus.

I wonder if some one you know that Brent Spiner (Data) was Dr. Bowman in Master of Disguise.

Just a little friendly FYI :)

I knew that. I wish I didn't, though. That move was pretty terrible after the fact.

I didn't think it was too awful. I was 11 when it came out, so as a kid I thought it was funny. Now it's just something to never watch again if one can manage.
