Wait wait wait, first everyone one is saying what a nice kid that kid is, now everyone is saying that he is not because he was told to give the ball to the crying kid (which I agree with, he WAS told to). But we are not talking about the true problem here. The ******* employee who GAVE the ball to the one kid and then told him to give it up to someone else. What kind of jerk are you? You don't give something to a child and then tell them to give it to someone else....

how can no one else see that he was told by the guy to give the ball to the kid, he didnt give it out of the kindness of his heart

Lol he gets told to give it away, why the hell else would the two kids stop and look down the stairs for a second or two and then walk over and hand it to the little kid.

At about 30 seconds you can see the boy and his friends focus on the park employee who was telling the kid to give it to the crying child. He didn't choose to do it so much as was told/influenced too. I doubt he would have seen the crying boy anyway. Then this "generous" kid goes on to get a signed bat from his favorite player and he gets to pitch a ball at a game later. (Though the crying child was lucky to still get that ball.)

I really don't want to ruin the mood, but that one kid might turn out to be really bratty, just because he thinks he can cry to get anything he wants. It was a good deed and all, but there might be negative consequences.

this is nice to see and that kids super cool for doing it but it's kinda like if you get a ball at a game and there is a kid nearby who's sad about not getting it you're a sack of **** if you don't give up the ball.

Personally if I wasn't the one who caught it, I don't think I would want it. Unless it was like something super special, like someone's 1000th homer or something.

But I wouldn't want memorabilla of a fly ball, knowing that it was given to me by some dude next to me who was able to catch much better than I can.

That **** kid stole it, then showed it to the audience, and after gave it to the player.
