You sound like a cunt, probably why they didn't like you.

Assuming you're better than people because you're big and play a sport is likely the reason you believe you're picked on, when in reality they just don't like you.

Faggot.

I am really big too, I'm 6'9" now, and was about 6'6" when i was a freshman, but people still thought it was a good idea to do stupid **** to me. I put up with it for years, until my mother told me if I didn't fight back, she'd kick my ass. So the next day when the asshole on the bus decided to turn his class ring around and smack me on the head with it, I stood up and laid him out in the middle of the bus. Broke his nose too. I got suspended for a week, and my mother called the school, told them what had been going on, and because they wouldn't do anything about it, she made sure I would. She went and rented me an N64, it was new at the time, and Super Mario 64 for the week. There was only one person who apparently didn't get the message and tried to start **** when I went back. The guy with the broken nose told him to knock it the **** off. He and I ended up really good friends. He was even a usher at my wedding. Years later I asked why he would always do that ****, and he told me because I would take it. I only had to take one swing to put a stop to years of ********.

I pretty much had the opposite situation, I was really short as a kid, now I'm average height, 5'10" and I've always been extremely skinny. Anyway I got picked on a lot because I have the social skills and tact of an autistic blue footed booby. School wouldn't do anything and the **** they did got progressively worse, mom told me to never fight back. Then one day after school and after being thrown down and one of my shoes falling off, as the main douche went to grab my shoe I quickly grabbed it and swung it at his face as hard as I could, I hit his eye, he had a black eye for a week and a half, I never got in trouble because he was too embarrassed to tell anyone. I still got picked on by everyone except him after that.

In my case, I was a little kid - tiny really. Skinny and short, a really good victim, honestly. I went to a private school until 3rd grade (when my mom's friend retired as principle and we stopped being able to afford it). The next two years I was homeschooled until my mom decided it was time for me to get social practice and such and go out to public school. I only ever had two friends that year - nobody wanted to hang out with me because I was the only new kid, everyone else had been at the school since kindergarten, and because I was really smart and weird. One of my friends was a cast out because his family was so poor and he wasn't really capable of functioning normal, the other was socially retarded (he still is).
So of course, I was bullied. No big deal, I took it. Nobody knew I was a black belt at the time, but it didn't matter because I didn't fight back because I was afraid the school and my parents would punish me. Usually it would happen right after school, they knew my parents were always late because my mom had terrible hours and my dad did private programming contracting, and had to finish what he was working on before he could come get me. It was never bad, 15, maybe 20 minutes to play on the playground, and my friend would always wait on me before going home.
The bullies didn't often get too physical, it never hurt, the most they had done is thrown really big nuts at me, but they had terrible aim. One day though, one of the people who had never bullied me before walked by. I started walking over and asked if he wanted to play, when I got within arms reach, he turned around and gave me a big black eye, then ran and hid behind a group of these other guys. I almost snapped, but my friend just told me to go walk home with him and play some Gamecube.

When my dad saw what had happened, he wasn't near as chill about it. He made me promise that if anyone ever hurt me like that again, to kick their asses. That's why I got my lessons, not so I could let myself be pushed around like this. He said I wouldn't be in trouble with them. The next day, we went to the school and told them what happened. Apparently, the playground was about 50 feet off school property, and they refused to do anything about it - that was the first time I ever saw my dad actually yell at someone. Even since then I've still never heard him scream that loud. For the next week(ish) I had a shiner, and all the kids laughed about it.
They didn't come back, so I figured they were done, but they were really just waiting for my friend to leave. The first day my friend got sick, three of them (including the one that punched me before) decided to try and beat the **** out of me for fun. Now when I say I'm a black belt. I don't mean black belt from some little kiddy school - I mean from a school that used canes to smack those who disobeyed their instructors (with parents permission of course). Those who didn't try hard enough were punished. I was top of the class, competed in a few national competitions even, I was part of their demo team and they even let me be an assistant instructor because I was that damn good. I didn't just defend myself, I let every single thing they've ever done to me and all that anger and hatred I had for myself and for them out that day. Apparently I broke one of the kids nose, cracked a couple ribs on another, and the other kid got pretty clean off with bruising. When the school tried to confront my parents - "It's 50 feet of school property".
It didn't help with my social position, but from then on - nobody has EVER ****** with me. Throughout the rest of my schooling, things were better. I even got a lot of friends in the later years (when the rumors finally died off).

I know, violence isn't always the answer. I know, you're afraid of consequences. But sometimes it's the only option. Don't let the rage build up, you'll end up hating yourself. Or one day (like me) you'll explode and end up hurting the people (or others) way worse than you intended (they really didn't deserve broken anythings, just some bruises. They were just kids and I feel really bad in hindsight). When you get bullied, don't build up the rage, let it out immediately. Stop them from targeting you. And this doesn't just apply for YOU. But when you see someone else get bullied, don't let it happen, don't laugh or just walk away. You need to step forward. Even if it means losing a few friends or not even solving the problem, imagine the hope you give. I would have done anything for just one ******* person to tell them to stop. Imagine how much I hated myself for not being normal enough for just one girl to like me, not being cool enough for even one *normal* person to be my friend. Long story, but ultimately, that's the moral.

A great way to look at it. I'm glad you were able to put a stop to it, and you're right. Violence isn't always the answer, but when it is, the longer you put it off the worse it's going to be.

so you beat up your bully, got an N64 by being rewarded by your MOM for beating up someone, and then gained a great friend who was in your wedding, wut. could you even have a better life. lol reminds me of what happend to me. im half Mexican living in a pretty white community, and although it usually isn't racist around here one asshole was. this was 8th grade and everyday a 7th grader on the bus would be a racist asshole to me, i mean typical stuff go back to mexico, beaner, etc. now i had been taking **** for a while. i was similar to you not as big, still 6' and pretty built too. plus he was small even for his younger age. but he was a ******* asshole.. and eventually after few weeks of just saying hes a little bitch and to shut the **** up i realized it just wasnt going to work. when he said shut up you stupid mexican, for some reason i just lost it, i had enough, so i hopped over 3 seats and bunched him in the face, only a few times but hard, didnt break anything since it was more close to side of his face. still, i knew i hit him hard, and he cried like a bitch. now this was middle school, they werent so stupid about all this 0 tolerance ********, we told them what happend, and i didnt get in any trouble since they wouldnt punish him for being racist either. i was happy, he already got his punishment. not only that but he was one of those kids that was annoying as **** anyway i later found out, most people wanted him to be punched in the face, but didnt have a legit enough reason to. so now i got people thanking me for this even, for quite some time! even someone i met a year later found out that was me and thanked me. **** YEA

I did something more...psychological.

In 5th grade these 7th graders were bullying me. Pushing me around because their friends in my grade wanted a ball I was playing with. The leader pushed me down, and I ******* lost it finally. I grabbed the leader's shirt, drug him down onto the ground with me, and then yelled like a psychopath in his face. The yard duty (basically a kiddy security guard) had to pry me off of him, and even then I was swinging at him and yelling that I was going to kick his ass.

In the itemsistration building we were both called to the principal's office to tell him what happened, so I told him. The 7th grader cried like a little bitch. Never had a problem with anyone else after that, and I never saw him in the part of the playground I usually played in.

In hindsight it probably wasn't the smoothest way, but it worked.

If you like assholes getting embarassed you'll enjoy this one too:

When my dad grew up, he lived in England. In highschool, he was about 6'1'' at the time. He wasn't thick by any means, he was skinny, but his side of the family is really tough for his size, and people in his school knew it from a couple fights he was in.
One day, he was on a field trip and they were taking the metro (or a train, i don't remember) and there was a group of REALLY obnoxious guys. They were picking on this kid and generally annoying the **** out of everybody. The teacher was oblivious or just didn't care though. Well my dad got really tired of these kids really fast.
He got up and walked over to them and the little kid they were picking on and looked a group of ~5 guys to shut the **** up. They naturally got up and started their intimidation ********. The "leader" of the group decided to be extra stupid that day. He pulls out a pocketknife, not all that big, but hey, it's a knife. He starts fumbling around with the knife, obviously nervous.
Now imagine your a 17 year old kid with a group of your buddies. You pull out a knife to make some kid scared of you. But instead of being afraid, this 6'1'' giant grabs the knife, opens it up for you, puts it back in your hand, points it at himself, gets right in your face, looks you dead in the eye and says "Go on, ******* do it then."
The kids walked away without a fight, of course muttering about how crazy my dad was. They didn't make another peep the rest of the trip, they didn't pick on the kid the rest of high school, and nobody ****** with my dad (but that was usual - now it was for being the crazy-ass knife guy).

Start throwing insults back if you're good at mudslinging with improv. They will either tone down what they say to you, or you guy's will make a game out of it. I did it all the time with upperclassmen I knew years ago, and when they saw I wouldn't just take the **** and actually threw it back they began to like me. It'll either go that way, or you'll get the **** kicked out of you (But I trust as you said you'll be doing the ***********). It worked for me, but results may vary man, I just really don't advise taking it all, it's not healthy for you even if you don't think it is.

MFW they still try to insult me back.

there's this one prick at my class that always grinds me gears, he constantly talks with his fellow friends during lessons, the teacher always tells him to stop, he stops, for a moment and continues talking, the annoying part about that prickly 'tard is that once I slip my friend a comment about something, he instantly gets up saying "crazylance, it isn't nice talking during lessons !"

I went through the same thing, a few comment and that's about it. I was always very tall and lanky and my voice got kind of deeper and slurred in high school.
don't worry, by the time you get to university everything will be ok.

Sad part is, my best friend is at MMA fighting and he could easily deck my ****, though that's the benefit of having such a friend, if **** goes into group fights, I know I have a friend who can watch my back while I watch his.

Funny how I'm the pacifist, almost like me and my friend are your counter parts in a different country.

His dad is Ukranian, means he's from Russia and he wants his son to be "productive" rather then sitting at home in front of PC all day, plus he performs parkour, I once went to see him do it and he got caught, thankfully we managed to fake a story as to why he climbed up the roof.

it was the way he was walking, head held down and sad looking, made him look weak. not that that gives the bully any right to be an asshole. but still

You can tell by the way the kid walks that he's endured years of this and was pretty much resigned to it happening again and again. Obviously something snapped this time, good for him.

That the kid walking would be a pacifist? Or, as he would put it, "Too much of a fat-ass wimp to do anything".

When he lifted his head, one thing was going through my mind.
What the **** did you just ******* say about me, you little bitch? I’ll have you know I graduated top of my class in the Navy Seals, and I’ve been involved in numerous secret raids on Al-Quaeda, and I have over 300 confirmed kills. I am trained in gorilla warfare and I’m the top sniper in the entire US armed forces. You are nothing to me but just another target. I will wipe you the **** out with precision the likes of which has never been seen before on this Earth, mark my ******* words. You think you can get away with saying that **** to me over the Internet? Think again, ******. As we speak I am contacting my secret network of spies across the USA and your IP is being traced right now so you better prepare for the storm, maggot. The storm that wipes out the pathetic little thing you call your life. You’re ******* dead, kid. I can be anywhere, anytime, and I can kill you in over seven hundred ways, and that’s just with my bare hands. Not only am I extensively trained in unarmed combat, but I have access to the entire arsenal of the United States Marine Corps and I will use it to its full extent to wipe your miserable ass off the face of the continent, you little ****. If only you could have known what unholy retribution your little “clever” comment was about to bring down upon you, maybe you would have held your ******* tongue. But you couldn’t, you didn’t, and now you’re paying the price, you goddamn idiot. I will **** fury all over you and you will drown in it. You’re ******* dead, kiddo.

I don’t give a **** who you are or where you live. You can count on me to be there to bring your ******* life to a hellish end. I’ll put you in so much ******* pain that it’ll make Jesus being nailed to a cross in the desert look like a ******* back massage on a tropical island. I don’t give a **** how many reps you have or how tough you are IRL, how well you can fight, or how many ******* guns you own to protect yourself. I’ll ******* show up at your house when you aren’t home. I’ll turn all the lights on in your house, leave all the water running, open your fridge door and not close it, and turn your gas stove burners on and let them waste gas. You’re going to start stressing the **** out, your blood pressure will triple, and you’ll have a ******* heart attack. You’ll go to the hospital for a heart operation, and the last thing you’ll see when you’re being put under in the operating room is me hovering above you, dressed like a doctor. When you wake up after being operated on, wondering what ticking time bomb is in your chest waiting to go off. You’ll recover fully from your heart surgery. And when you walk out the front door of the hospital to go home I’ll run you over with my ******* car out of no where and kill you. I just want you to know how easily I could ******* destroy your pathetic excuse of a life, but how I’d rather go to a great ****** length to make sure your last remaining days are spent in a living, breathing ******* hell. It’s too late to save yourself, but don’t bother committing suicide either… I’ll ******* resuscitate you and kill you again myself you bitch-faced phaggot. Welcome to hell, population: you
