the smaller ones can, but the bigger ones such as tigers, lions, and leopards cannot.

Here's a video of cheetahs meowing www.youtube.com/watch?v=Qb_Vu9YFqjE

For a millisecond the tiger was about to become aggressive. That could have gone wrong in many ways, and probably will. Why the **** would you stick your face that close to an adult Bengal tiger with only a small piece of technology between the two?
User avatar #39 to #5 - chonies (02/17/2013) [-]
Dammit phanact learn your **** .
#13 to #5 - anon (02/17/2013) [-]
Except it wasn't because it's been domesticated since birth. You can also tell by looking at it's eyes that it was surprised and curious, not 'about to be aggressive'.
User avatar #22 to #13 - arstya (02/17/2013) [-]
You can domesticate them? I mean, I know you could keep any wild animal, with terrible risk, but can you domesticate a tiger?
User avatar #29 to #22 - soulsilver (02/17/2013) [-]
Yes. If you have a tiger in captivity from birth, it will not learn any of the aggressive qualities that you would find in wild tigers. This is because wild ones survive by killing everything they can, whereas a non-wild one would have been fed already dead flesh, so it won't learn to properly kill, which is why they aren't allowed to be set free into the wild because they won't know **** about how ti survive. Sure, they can still get pissed off, and if they do they'll likely kill you, but the same can be said of any cat. I know my cat's wanted to kill me quite a few times, and just lacked the strength.

In that case I want a wolf.
