Because their saliva had numbing agents in it. After the first couple bites, he wouldn't be able to fight back as well.

but it STILL doesn't tell me why he wandered off INTO A ISLAND OF WILD DINOSAURS! even IF he told his friend it was still him going off into the unknown, he is the dumbest person in the film

I can't tell if you're joking or not, so I'll assume you aren't.

It's an older (1963) horror/suspense film directed by Alfred Hitchcock. Basically, some kind of unnatural phenomenon makes all the birds around the world go nuts and kill people.

Based off of a book with the same name.

Half of it was contemplating the idea of birds going crazy, and the other half was people running/dying/hiding.

Surprisingly, aside from the slow start-up, it's worth the watch if you don't mind older movies.

I'm sure it's on netflix, if you have it. Otherwise it's prolly on the net somewhere. Or TPB.

The Alien series were good. In fact, The Birds is quite similar to the first one. At least suspense-wise.

They both give me a very similar vibe. Other than the complete different type of creatures and it being on earth/space and stuff, they just both have that feel of like...

People have a job to do, so they're trying to do it, something out of the ordinary happens, but seems okay. Some more weird **** goes on. And then suddenly people are dying.

I mean, sure, that's a typical suspense/horror film, but there's a difference between the good and the bad.

See its nice to find someone who likes a good old movie, not many people do now-a days remember those movies.

Ehhh... I'm stuck in a rut, tbh. Most of the movies coming out now-a-days aren't original or have had a lot of work put into them. But there have been a FEW good ones.

Which makes the older GOOD movies seem outdated... So even though they were classics of the time, other movies of that age seem too old.

But, for some reason this makes me want to watch Monte Python and the Holy Grail.

Thats because Monte python is a ******* classic and is ageless and timeless as fine wine

Is it an African Swallow or a European Swallow?
