Here, about 70 miles from DFW, it snows every year. It only snows about 1 inch though.

Probably Canada, we just had a huge storm on Friday
User avatar #53 to #48 - epicwinone (02/11/2013) [-]
ya, canada didn't get the burnt of it in toronto, we got like 25 cm. boston (from what I understand) got like 90cm
User avatar #69 to #53 - ilovetocuddle (02/11/2013) [-]
Yeah it was bad around here in Boston. Worst part is a water pipe burst on my street, oh joy.

i feel bad for you guys. (and I was just getting ready for motorcycle season too...)

Its funny more than anything. we havn't gotten almost any snow this year. Then last weekend happened.
#74 to #53 - firecrotchq (02/12/2013) [-]
centimeters?
User avatar #79 to #74 - pseudobob **User deleted account** (02/12/2013) [-]
2.54 centimeters in an inch, about 30 in a foot and 91.5 in a yard.

You shoulda seen Eastern Massachusetts, it was a friggin blizzard.
User avatar #52 to #49 - nightmaren (02/11/2013) [-]
Woah really?!?!?! A full blizzard???!?! Golly!
User avatar #55 to #52 - bruinsmoxie (02/11/2013) [-]
I'm guessing you're from LA? San Diego? Tampa Bay? You have no idea what a ******* blizzard is.
User avatar #56 to #55 - nightmaren (02/11/2013) [-]
I'm Canadian, dickhead. The word blizzard doesn't even describe what we got on friday.
User avatar #57 to #56 - bruinsmoxie (02/11/2013) [-]
I doubt that you got it as bad as we did in Boston on Friday. If there's any region of the US that knows the definition of blizzard it's New England.
User avatar #59 to #57 - nightmaren (02/11/2013) [-]
It's not a competition. What I was initially saying is that the word blizzard really does not describe that snow-storm, regardless of where you are. Calling that a "friggen blizzard!" and using the word blizzard as if that's going to rattle them, would be like if it rained so hard for so long that your city flooded, and while talking about it later, you went "man, you should have seen that, we got a whole rain storm here in new york!"
Your average snow-storm is called a blizzard. That was not your average snow storm.
User avatar #76 to #59 - thatevanguy (02/12/2013) [-]
You are not Canadian.

I didn't see you apologize to that man once.

Nothing compares to the snow we get in the UK, we're the manliest when it comes to snow.

yeah ******* right

User avatar #26 to #17 - mrmagicfingers (02/11/2013) [-]
In the part of the UK where I live it ended up raining whilst it was snowing, not much point in it snowing at all.

And that's under some trees, where there's less snow.

From someone of the northeast, it's not really as dramatic as it looks. In fact it's annoying, especially since you have to shovel all that.
User avatar #28 to #18 - tenthousandmarbles **User deleted account** (02/11/2013) [-]
I'm in boston, and we still had class today when there's still like 2+ feet all around making it impossible to walk let alone drive. I feel the pain
User avatar #33 to #18 - ifolkthefirstdate (02/11/2013) [-]
I agree with you there, but usually in conditions when it does tend to accumulate, it's the soft light stuff, that's ******* perfect to ski. (if you're into expensive white people sports)
