I was staring at the Falkland Islands for 5 minutes waiting for a tiny explosion before I realized it only went up to 1950.

it only goes up to 1950. I was waiting for the explosions in America and was wondering why Europe was so bomb happy.

and what would be in america after 1950?

lol, thats not a battleground, unless there was a battle or war in NYC USA, it just initiated the american's silly goose chase

just a guess.

I didn't know if these were only wars, or any "militant" action

Now, It should have been started from the 1700's. We would see at least two wars in the US.

not a battleground either, just an initiation, no wars have happened in america, they're just pussies that cant win a 1 on 1 fit with the vietnamese
User avatar #59 to #52 - JNS (02/07/2013) [-]
I'd say anywhere a battle takes place is a battleground
whether it's a "war" a "conflict" or an "initiation"

... they should have gone to present day, and included internet arguments -- that would have been interesting
#60 to #59 - pixzel (02/07/2013) [-]
internet arguments would have explosions everywhere except the sahara, **** the sahara

i feel this is a little off when it comes to american wars, like revalution barely had anything and the civil war had only a couple little booms that u barely saw even though close to a million people died during the civil war... other then that pretty cool

America has been untouched for a long time...

I think we're due for a war on US soil....

Led of course by the Russian named Nikolai and the Chinese named Lee.

"mainland america will never be attacked, for behind every blade of grass you will find a rifle" quote from a ww2 japanese general, i believe it to be true, approx. 280,000,000 US citizens are gun owners, even the worlds top 10 largest militarys dont even add up to 1% of that, power in numbers and what not, and even though most gun owners only have hunting rifles and such a bullet is still and bullet and still quite lethal regardless of what its shot from
User avatar #94 to #72 - chism (02/07/2013) [-]
...280,000,000.... thats almost every man woman and child in america. there are only 300,000,000 privately owned guns and most owners have multiple guns so it probably closer to 100,000,000 if that. and that's a BIG if, china has a standing army of 5 million, that is 5%. pretty big threat.
User avatar #74 to #72 - oottovann (02/07/2013) [-]
Who ever said we wouldn't be fighting with ourselves?

Remember the North and the South...?
User avatar #85 to #74 - bakedbread (02/07/2013) [-]
that was a very fragile time in american history and our country was still relatively unformed, the US today is much more stable anything that could spark a civil war is pretty much considered taboo by goverment, and although the US military in unison with armed civilians is a near impenertable defense once split the military has the technology to control the population if need be, while armed civilians complimenting the military would be extremely effective against an enemy country if the military wanted to control civilians they have alot that the average civilian gun cant even scratch, what could a group of civilians do when faced by a armed helicopter than to surrender, given the unlikely event that a civil war somehow breaks out, we have a pretty good definition of basic human rights and such now-a-days
User avatar #87 to #85 - oottovann (02/07/2013) [-]

I'm not even going to ******* try....

well if you have a good point then make it my good sir, i assure you im not a completely unreasonable fellow, although i do enjoy a good debate, its all in good fun
#101 to #89 - anon (02/07/2013) [-]
The military is only so powerful. One thing to keep in mind is those invincible helicopters and tanks need to land and refuel somewhere. If a large enough populace really rose up they would easily overwhelm the US military. Also, the military is a completely volunteer force and many of those people rising up would be our fathers, brothers and sisters. Most of us would not be able to pull the trigger on our own people.

It gets boring in Florida as well. The heat and constant sunlight doesn't suit me in the slightest. Would you like to trade?

Definitely, I'll probably burn as soon as I step out but it would be nice to know what actual sunlight is like!
