Now you know how I felt during the royal wedding.
User avatar #12 to #2 - biggydy (02/06/2013) [-]
My mom and sisters were all like "OH MY GOSH THE ROYAL WEDDING HURR". They took our islands, and yet people here seem to like the British Royal Family or whatever they're called. I'm from Argentina btw.

Mate, that is over 200 hundred years ago, and shouldn't we let the Falkand islanders decide for themselves.
User avatar #41 to #13 - eddymolly ONLINE (02/06/2013) [-]
But if we did, The Argentines would get upset because they would lose the Falklands, but if they keep arguing about it they can take longer to lose it.
#47 to #12 - aciar (02/06/2013) [-]
They were only Argentinian Islands for a tiny period of time.

<This is a diagram to show you who actually owned the Falklands since it's discovery.

To be fair I think US and Canada made more out of it than the UK did. We don't give a **** about them anymore they're just there for tourism.

Quick random question for a british person: You call underwear "pants" and what americans call pants, "trousers." My question is what do you call pajama pants? Do you say pajama trousers or what (that sounds strange)? I've heard pajamas called "jim jams" and other things, but what do you call just the lower half of pajamas? (This question has been bothering me for days)
#9 to #6 - anon (02/06/2013) [-]
well I just say pajama pants, pajama trouser just sounds weird to me
#18 to #9 - thatfuego (02/06/2013) [-]

What anon said cus we don't consider pajamas normal clothing they fit into the category of underwear
#11 to #6 - anon (02/06/2013) [-]
When you're young you normally say PJ's or jim jams or jammies or something chessy along those lines. But as you grow up it just turns in to pajamas.
#14 to #6 - anon (02/06/2013) [-]
I've always said pyjama bottoms and pyjama tops (British). I think pyjamas is the British/non-US way of spelling it as well.

Im not mad or anything but just because its oval shaped and looks like and egg doesnt negate the fact that it a ball. The look of it doesnt mean you have to name it in a literal sense, you dont call a plate a "flattened bowl". Im just saying, this is pretty ridiculous....
#44 to #32 - anon (02/06/2013) [-]
Balls have to be spherical or they aren't balls.

Is it just me or is that incredibly weird, but not at the same time?
