It'd be like the dominoes are glued to the ground. Sorry to burst the bubble, we all like to dream.

I have myself tried an attempt at DF. It went sort of well, but I didn't find any iron 'cause I suck at digging, had no military, and a goblin siege raped me. Other than that all my dwarves had nice, engraved and furnished rooms and my supplies were through da roof.

So... if you had a bunch of those up to one the size of a building next to a building...

... it would be like having the last domino glued to the ground...

Science!
Science!

How does this work?
It only takes a little bit of energy to knock over the smallest domino, but the largest one has to hit the ground with more force than it took to knock over the little one.
Infinite power!
#41 to #4 - anon (01/22/2013) [-]
That energy just puts the first domino out of balance. It's the mass of the object being pulled by gravity that knocks the other dominoes

Think about tapping a boulder to send it off a cliff.
User avatar #5 to #4 - PgFalcon (01/22/2013) [-]
Actually, the energy released by the biggest one was added to the equation in the first place when they stood it up to set up the dominos.

In other words, this is a gravity engine, because as more dominoes fall of greater and greater weights the more energy is being exerted. The trigger for the release does not need to equal the release itself, nor even be anywhere close to equaling it.
