Meh... 90% of the Canadian population lives in the little area by the great lakes and is about the same temperature as New York, plus the other huge chunk in Vancouver, so it really is the minority that has very short summers.

Well the 90% admittedly does go up North to Montreal/Ottawa, but my point was that it's all essentially clustered in that little place by the border. So it's weird because I don't usually relate (nor does the vast majority of the population) when I live a few hours drive away from where all the Americans making these posts live.
