One of the things I hate the most is when people lift like that and then brag about how much they can lift

the guy at the bottom is really strong but does he do this right? he takes pretty short ones, you're supposed to almost touch the ground with your chest.... impressive though

>Go to gym today
>Say Hi to my guy who works at front desk
>He looks glum
>walk in to locker room
>Get my **** off
>Why are there so many fat guys
>Laugh at their tiny dicks
>Put gym clothes on
>It's upper body day according to my workout calender
>Walk out into gym
>So many fat people using equipment incorrectly
>Decide to start with some easy bench warmups
>Grab the 20 pound weight
>Fatass comes up to me
>"Hey, can I use that?"
>Well I just grabbed it, so no, maybe when I'm done with it
>"No, I need it more than you, look at me, and look at you"
>No sir, I had it first
>He leaves
>Start workout
>He comes back with my front desk bro
>Front desk bro says whats the problem
User avatar #13 to #12 - trolljunkusa (01/10/2013) [-]
>"HE WONT GIVE ME THE WEIGHT"
>Okay, you'll just have to wait your turn
>Finish rest of workout, managed to lift 140 with 6 sets of 15. My newest record
>After I finish that, and start packing up, everyone starts cheering for this one guy
>Has over 190 pounds of weight on it
> ******* ****** does one lift, and hangs it on the rack
>Laugh at how easily amused new years fags are
User avatar #102 to #13 - deadrifler (01/11/2013) [-]
I still prefer those ***** to the people who come into the gym and sit on a machine using their phone. That and the New Years work out people who work one machine for extremely long periods of time, taking long breaks between and just sitting around talking to their buddies who are on the machines around them.

Good gym rules to follow.
1. If you are not working the machine, do not be on it.
2. Leave your phone in the locker, you come here to work out, all your friends don't need to know you are at the gym.(Yes, some people like to have phone on them for emergency, but that doesn't mean they have to be on it the entire time they enter the gym.
3. If you are circuit training, keep the amount of machines you are using reasonable, other people pay just as much as you to work those machines.
4. MY biggest pet peeve, WIPE DOWN after you're finished with the machine. Especially if you tend to sweat a lot while working out, nobody wants to use a machine that looks like it just got pulled out of the nearest river.
5. Don't stare at other people while they are working out...bit creepy

Probably missed a few more big ones, but those are just the 5 main ones that happen at my gym.

140 kg I take it for 6 of 15 sets, impressive
User avatar #15 to #14 - trolljunkusa (01/10/2013) [-]
No, it was in pounds sir. Forgot aout all the non americans on this site too

silly imperial system and metric system mix ups
#16 to #15 - rudianos (01/10/2013) [-]
yeah i thought 15 at 140kg was a bit mad.

still, 6 sets of 15 at what 65ish. better than me by a long shot
User avatar #19 to #16 - trolljunkusa (01/10/2013) [-]
I was pretty proud of myself, I must say. ******* otter mode is approaching, I know it
#109 to #19 - steeedan (01/11/2013) [-]
Why so many reps and sets bro? What exercise was it anyway? I'm just curious don't assume i'm hating.
User avatar #122 to #109 - sirmatthew (01/11/2013) [-]
for endurance im guessing. I havent done any weight lifting in the past year or so, but I think pushing yourself really hard after your muscles feel exhausted builds you quickly
User avatar #148 to #122 - trolljunkusa (01/11/2013) [-]
It does, I take risks when working out, and probably build muscle too fast. But once I reach a certain Body fat ratio, I'm going to take it easy.
#37 to #15 - givenoutsomesauce (01/11/2013) [-]
i was like sweet mother of god.......haha still impressive though. nice endurance.

User avatar #30 to #13 - trolliuskingtroll (01/11/2013) [-]
did you do this on the bench?
User avatar #149 to #30 - trolljunkusa (01/11/2013) [-]
Yes.

I did a few dead lifts at 140 today too
User avatar #150 to #149 - trolliuskingtroll (01/12/2013) [-]
did you use a smith machine or just free wights or two 70lbs dumbells?
User avatar #151 to #150 - trolljunkusa (01/12/2013) [-]
Free weights. 30 pound bar, and 110 pounds of weight
User avatar #152 to #151 - trolliuskingtroll (01/12/2013) [-]
nice that's what i usually do when i use the bar. using dumbells can be better i heard because it gives you even more balance but you have to do less weight
User avatar #153 to #152 - trolljunkusa (01/12/2013) [-]
Yeah I tried the dumbells once, but it was akward. It didn't feel right.
User avatar #154 to #153 - trolliuskingtroll (01/12/2013) [-]

Keep trying

If you don't keep trying, you won't get built like this

Use this as a motivator

Edit out the machine and background.

Just have this guy alone. Lookin' like he's doing some bizarre, impossible dance
