The only thing that bugs me in the lotr is when Bilbo finds the ring and then Smeagol starts freaking out. But in the hobbit, Bilbo finds the ring and Smeagol doesn't notice and they have the riddles. And then he starts to freak out. How could you screw something up that badly when making the movie? I know they followed the book with the riddles, but couldn't they have made it fit on what we sat at the beginning of the Fellowship of the Ring?
