This appears to be a combustion reaction using methane gas. Methane only requires 2 diatomic Oxygen molecules for every mole of Methane, so the activation energy is relatively small and creates similar displays when exposed to a catalyst such as fire. The yellow flames are a tell-take sign of an alkali reaction.

For example, a sodium ion in an unexcited state has the structure 1s2 2s2 2p6.

When you heat it, the electrons gain energy and can jump into any of the empty orbitals at higher levels - for example, into the 7s or 6p or 4d or whatever, depending on how much energy a particular electron happens to absorb from the flame.

Each of these jumps involves a specific amount of energy being released as light energy, and each corresponds to a particular colour.

As a result of all these jumps, a spectrum of coloured lines will be produced. The colour you see will be a combination of all these individual colours.

It is hard to determine exactly what combusting agent was used. I would strongly suggest that you do not attempt any reaction with pure methane unless youre experienced in handling gases and small explosives.

It's clearly a spell. Why else would there be a massive wand at the end of the car? And you can see the spell charging its fire.

Im 95% sure that that's Hydrogen and Oxygen mixed together in that Balloon, and that's a Synthesis reaction making H20 :)
