I love the jump he makes down the staircase, like that's actually any faster than stepping down. I understand though, sometimes you take the stylish way just because.

In freerunning you do. In Parkour it's purely about getting from point a to point b.

I'm well aware, I designed a section of my local parkour practice space.

Clearly not, because real parkour is meant to be used to get to somebody needing help, evade aggressors, or thwart criminals. That's what being a traceur means.

The official motto of parkour is 'Any way we can.'. Parkour itself is a sport, founded by David Belle. The two other figureheads of the parkour movement took it in different directions, but Belle found greatest success.

The park I contributed designs to has been a frequent training spot for Ecocreeper, including member George Mayfield, currently ranked 5th in the world.

This isn't a one up contest, I just want to prove I'm not just a fat neckbeard who played Mirrors Edge.

I see. I was simply saying what Parkour is for, as David Belle says. I'm glad you actually know your **** sir.

Parkour is the art of moving from point a to point b as quickly as possible, it isn't away from or towards anything.

Actually it was used by french shoplifters, obviously the younger generation, to escape the police and possibly the shop owner.

Actually, it was invented by the french millitary in the 1800 century, as a survival tactic. It was later picked up by the french man Davide Belle, who then practiced the dicipline like no one ever had done, a little bit after that, another frenchman named Sebastian Foucan "invented" freerunning, which is the art of moving creatively. And they laid the foundations for what is known as parkour and freerunning today.

I find it easier on PC, but that is mostly because I have gotten used to them instead of the controllers to all those consoles.
