You would think.. that one of the most POWERFUL wands in the world, would be just (at least) a TAD bit harder to snap in half.. like, what the **** .

Why did he have to break it in the movie? In the book it said he will return it to the brothers grave.

"A piece for Neville Longbottom. He started out socially awkward and bit accident prone, and he still managed to become a hero. A piece for Hermione Granger, because she's one sexy ************ ....."

The first Dumbledore played Dumbledore better.
User avatar #103 to #100 - accdodson (01/27/2012) [-]
It wasn't the actor's fault, the director just wanted more drama.
User avatar #105 to #103 - kaneparker (01/27/2012) [-]
Or maybe the fact that Richard Harris died has something to do with it...

Nah, they would just prop his corpse up and wire it to move like a robot.

It isn't just this movie though, the second Dumbledore is angry and aggressive in general.
User avatar #107 to #104 - accdodson (01/27/2012) [-]
Oh, well I haven't seen them. I read the books, which make him seem all calm and boss-like like Gandalf, but more wise and pacifistic.
#127 to #104 - zendir (01/27/2012) [-]
lol he is an angry, aggressive general in the movie Toys with Robin Williams
User avatar #122 to #100 - peekabeast (01/27/2012) [-]
not really. dumbledore was always supposed to give off a sense of power, and the first one simply seemed like a frail old man. the second one was actually intimidating, taking magic into account.
User avatar #129 to #122 - MouldyBananas (01/27/2012) [-]
Have you even read the books?
#147 to #129 - anon (01/27/2012) [-]
I have and I agree with peeka... well kind of. First one was too frail old man, and the second one was too IMA CHARGIN MAH LAZERZ

I agree, but I think that Michael Gambon (Dumbledore from 3-7) had a better voice than Richard Harris (Dumbledore from first two movies)
