I see no humor.
I see the exact replication of situation we saw in the movie.
Except this is reality and they have no chance of any freak accidents ensuring their escape and happy ending. They are trapped until death.

Aye but at what cost?
I ain't trina go peta but we don't know what animals go through. I can't look at the Zoo or circus the same sometimes. They probably trippin in there. You can compare their thoughts to ours as to if we're alone in the universe, They may wonder is there anything different to my existence than these four glass walls or cage bars. They'll never see the world, or experience anything it has to offer. They may not even know there IS anything to offer if it's a line of species born into captivity. Like a baby in federal prison, all he know is thug life.

I look at a lot of circuses and things differently, and even a lot of pet stores. But generally pet owners are pretty good to their animals. And I don't know this for a fact but I don't think most fish have the mental capacity to think about what they could be doing with their lives. Also a lot of fish kept in captivity live much longer then their counterparts in the wild. Did you say aye because of your name?
#33 to #32 - triggathepirate (10/07/2013) [-]
Negro how you know what a fish thinking?
That's gonna be apropos when aliens come and **** our asses up and think to them selves with their unfathomable intellect compared to ours "They don't have the capacity to think about their ambition" when they enslave us for sport and entertainment.

And I said Aye because of some inherited ancestral information.
#34 to #33 - adr (10/07/2013) [-]
Except that a lot of animals literally do not have the brain capacity to think about things like that. A lot of animals think only of the necessities such as food, survival, mating, etc. Some may feel emotions on some level but it isn't on the same level as we think.

I honestly thought people learned from watching Finding Nemo.

While I really do doubt fish really care for a lot, instinctively, they will prefer the ocean to a fish tank, regardless of safety and easy living.

When my boss and her husband were away I had to help their daughter clean the fish tank. I was looking at all the fish, and started to find Nemo, Gill, Bubbles, Peach, Deb, and Jacques (who actually cleaned my finger while I fed them all). I commented how they were recreating the aquarium in Finding Nemo, and it turned out to be entirely coincidental.

Or so they said >.>
