ok guys. Posting as anon because i don't want my friends on FJ seeing this and knowing how subconcious i am. and this is for real so please, any good advice would be great.

I'm 20 years old, been struggling with being overweight my whole life. This year i started finally going to the gym and trying hard to eat healthily but nothing seems to be working. i can feel my muscles are getting stronger and bigger but i am not losing weight. I am too scared to weigh myself but i would estimate myself to be about 150kg, and am about 1.98m tall. My main problem is the huge amount of fat on my upper body. I have a pretty large stomach and unfortunately sized man-boobs for lack of a better word. please could you advise me on some sort of eating plan and what sort of work-outs i should be doing? I have been trying to eat loas of fruit and veges and drink tons of water, and do high intensity work outs (though i have been told aerobic excercises are better. Thanks guys :) pic not related, i just like it

Diet- try and eat 5-6 times a day, the size of the meals should be about 2 palm fulls, seeing as youre trying to loose weight you'll want a diet with less carbs but dont totally cut them out, shoot for 35-40% of your calories from healthy carbs, 50-55% from proteins, and 10% from healthy fats. try to cut out simple sugars, sodas, fried foods, etc and try to have a diet full of fish, lean meats, vegetables and fruits.you might also want to start using supplements like protein supplements and creatine. both will help you to gain muscle however with creatine do your research before to figure out your dosage and make sure you drink enough water. other supplements you might want to consider would be thermogenics (be careful with these though and do research) and multivitamins

Working out- lifting weights is an excellent way to loose fat and get healthy, the more muscle you have= the more calories burned by your body and if youre in a caloric deficit this will translate to loosing fat. my recommendation would be to try and lift weights 4 times a weeks for 45mins-1 hour a day and hit every major muscle group once a week to start with.
something like
mon-shoulders
tues- legs
wed-off
thurs-chest/back
fri-off
sat-tris/bis
sun- off
you can do abs and core work too in any of your workouts and on the off days
now for the cardio, since your primary concern is burning fat i think doing cardio for about 30 mins a day on the days you workout and an hour on off days, your pace should be enough so that youre working hard and are sweating but are not going to die from doing it, try and keep your heart rate in the 120-150 bpm range

you need to burn fat and tone your body

best way to do both of these is
1.swimming - best
2.running - nearly the best
3. excersise bike - nearly the best

buy a pull up bar you can hang on a door and do them
also do push ups , and look up prison squats,
1st aim for 10 pull ups 20 push ups and 30 squats , not all at once but through the day
being healthy and strong is a lifelong process, dont look at these as workouts but as ways to make yourself feel and look better
