Dunno if I'd call it RPG, more like Strategy. Couldn't name characters or make any changes than what was predetermined. Still a timeless classic that I'll never forget.

Bought the "HD" version on steam for like $4, talk about value. $4 for countless hours of entertainment? Couldn't turn that down!

The original Half-Life. It has dramatic pacing, ok graphics(for the time), and it's story is set up so you can decide how far into it you get. You can either take it as a scientist trying to escape aliens, or go all in and try and read the undertones about a secret man in a suit pulling strings and a hidden group of powerful people trying to hush it up.

I could argue any command and conquer game that was developed by westwood. It's the series in my opinion that truly shined light on the RTS genre. Which C&C game was your favourite?

Tiberian sun and red alert 2
But I also enjoyed "Earth 2140" and "Total annihilation" as non-westwood RTS games, they were also very enjoyable and spent lots and lots of time in those games.

2. C&C 3:Tiberium Wars
3. Red Alert 2

On a different note, C&C 4: Tiberium Twilight? **** you EA.

Wasn't it actually a completely different game in Japan that they just put Mario sprites in for the rest of the world? Remember hearing something like that....

Yup, original game was called Doki Doki Panic. This explains the existance of all the weird new creatures added to the Mario world just from this one game.
