World peace wouldn't last unless we had the opportunity to expand into the stars. We also wouldn't have peace with each other even then until we encounter an alien race and obliterate them. Humanity would finally stop fighting each other and just kick some alien ass, especially if the aliens were hostile.

Choose world peace.

Choose curb stomping aliens.

so you are saing that to delete world war, we would need intergalactic war?
thats like saing "you don't care about common cold if you have cancer"
thats not a solution -.-
User avatar #220 to #218 - commontroll (04/05/2014) [-]
No no. Not Intergalactic. It can be just this galaxy.

But in all seriousness, it is the nature of almost everything to fight. It is in our nature to fight. I personally believe there is no such thing as innate goodness, and that we have to have outside forces that make us good. We fight because that's our instincts. There will always be people taking to arms and such to fight. The only way to stop humans killing each other is to have a common enemy. The greatest common enemy is aliens that are not too superior.

There may actually be some problems with world peace, rioters couldn't protest oppressive governments, people could take advantage of the peaceful nature of people and animal rights activists couldn't rescue animals in many cases.

creating world peace, by spending all the money buying lamborghinis and use it as military vehicle. no one would hit it, therefore the color is snackbars.

I'm sorry, Lamborghini? As in, singular? No, no, no. You don't understand. I'd have a Lamborghini in a color for every day of the week, with another set aside for special occasions. I'd have a house so goddamn big, I could genuinely get lost, on a piece of land so big, you need a GPS just to get down the driveway, with guest houses for my friends, family, and that one homeless dude who I always give a burger and a few cigarettes.

You have 3 choices.

LaFerarri (Pic 1)
Lamborghini Veneno (Pic 2)
McLaren P1 (Pic 3)

Any colour, and for this experiment we'll say they all cost £1m/$1m each. Go.

LaFerarri for me.

User avatar #170 to #167 - thebobinito (04/05/2014) [-]
You aren't grasping what I mean here, you had the money with the three cars lined up in front of you and you can choose any of them, only them 3, nothing else, you have to choose one of them 3, I like your idea. But play along please.
User avatar #171 to #170 - shadowsynergy (04/05/2014) [-]
I walk away. Super cars are nice and all but they are a massive waste of money for power that you'll almost never be able to use. Sorry, can't play along.
Though I'd probably buy an astin martin if I had to buy a super car, the choices you gave are overpriced and lame (In my opinion)
User avatar #176 to #171 - thebobinito (04/05/2014) [-]
The P1 is the first car of it's kind, the Lamborghini Veneno is apparently estimated at £/$4.4m and the LaFerrari is just in this picture as I found it like this. Fair enough, if I had the choice I'd take a Pontiac Superbird over any of these any day of the week. But most people tend to like looking at supercars so I just chose three that I thought look the nicest and people know about.

Playing by the rules of the game, I'd go with the P1, but in all honesty if I had that much money and could only spend it on one car I still probably wouldn't pick one of those.
User avatar #172 to #162 - thebobinito (04/05/2014) [-]

1 rule to this is, the money HAS to be spent on one of them as the content is you have Bill Gates' money and can choose any car, you'd still have billions after this anyway.

I mean this as on the spot in a dealership with £/$1m cash in your hand ready to buy one, which 1 would you take with you home?
User avatar #217 to #162 - YourAnalProbe (04/05/2014) [-]
I'd go with a Veneno since I love Lamborghinis, even though it's just a beefed up Aventador and the LaFerrari and P1 are hybrids/more technologically advanced
User avatar #234 to #217 - thebobinito (04/06/2014) [-]
I'm not sure what it is about the LaFerrari but it just has a certain element that the other two don't possess. The Veneno is just over the top in my opinion, sure Lamborghini's have always been outrageous and wild and that's why we love them but I think that should have been worked on a bit more. The P1 I feel is too much of a sensible car, just the way it looks with all the technology and everything, sure you'd be polluting less with it than the other 2 and it looks stunning, but the LaFerrari, that is just art, it's Scarlett Johansson in a red dress. It's a big change from past Ferrari's in my eyes yet not too much like the Veneno yet, it has the qualities the P1 has but it's not too serious, it's just about right, like a puppy going into adulthood, that change over time, just the Ferrari is stuck there.
User avatar #235 to #234 - YourAnalProbe (04/06/2014) [-]
Haha if you only listed the P1 or the LaFerrari, I'd definitely choose the LaFerrari in a heartbeat. I agree with a lot of what you said about the LaFerrari. I don't know much about Ferraris but from what I can tell the LaFerrari is the epitome of Ferrari's most defining characteristics - elegance and power (basically what I'm trying to say is float like a butterfly, sting like a bee) and the fact that the LaFerrari is literally the very best Ferrari you could buy right now supports that. Meanwhile the company mindset of McLaren could be summarized as "Let's set some records!" and Lamborghini whose whole reason for existence is basically " **** Ferrari". They're crazy and that's why I love them but I see where you're coming from.
User avatar #238 to #235 - thebobinito (04/06/2014) [-]
I just feel as if Lamborghini have lost that element they have had for so many years, I used to love the Murcielago and when they introduced the LP640 version I turned into a little kid over that one car, then SV version, but then the Aventador came out and it was okay, looked great but just didn't have the same effect on me at all, then the Huracan was unveiled recently and just looks like they put no effort into changing it from the Gallardo at all. I've never been a big fan of McLaren but the P1 was a definite eye opener for me, then we have the P13 next year which will be cheaper than Porsche 911 Turbo S, which surprised me for a McLaren. But Ferrari's, no matter how old you are, how old the Ferarri is, you know it when there is a Ferrari around, they just have a certain amount of prestige and elegance about them that I personally don't think the others have maintained down the line, Ferrari gave us the F40, Lamborghini gave us the Muira and McLaren gave us the F1 which are all timeless stunning cars. But now it just feels like all every company wants is more power and outrageous designs, sure I like the designs because you just sit there like "Wow, just wow" but they don't possess what Ferrari have, Pagani have been doing outrageous designs since well, they started so you expect it from them.
