I don't care

Why tell me that things I haven't seen yet can be seen somewhere else, but before now? How's that useful to anyone? Especially since the current time is not before now and never will be.

And why would I go somewhere else to view it when there's an exact replica of the content I haven't seen before just a scroll away.

And how is it useful to anyone if you tell us that this content can be found elsewhere, but before now, after I've already had to scroll through the content to reach your comment? I'm not going to bypass the content, to look at the comments, to make sure it's not a repost, so that I can view it on the website it originated from.

I was talking to an Australian foreign exchange student, and I mentioned that we occasionally have mountain lions that wander into town. She flipped **** , which I thought was surprising.

American here. One time I was skateboarding with some friends, and we were skating down the street. I skated by a trashcan, and a possum darted out from behind it, and lunged at me, and tried to bite my leg. Luckily I was wearing boots, so he didn't break the skin, but he was still acting crazy. I kicked him away, and he starting coming towards me again, so I bashed his head in with my skateboard....I normally love animals, and I've always felt very guilty about doing this, even though he was probably rabid. forgive me.
#58 to #32 - castial (10/25/2013) [-]
Thats rare most Opossum that are rabid die very quickly within 18 of contracting the disease, I have never had to deal with one in person before, I did have an issue with a raccoon, thought a cat was in a trashcan outside my house I Kicked the can and a Raccoon jumps out and starts hissing, I panicked and kicked it clear over the road

most of my interactions with ring tail possums have been them hissing and trying to attack me, one nearly killed my cat, the one pictured is a brush tail possum, they are nothing

User avatar #40 to #33 - wersand (10/25/2013) [-]
Yea, those are two young racoons. I didn't know that they lived there either, but that's right down the road from where I lived.

I'm not entirely sure on this and I don't care enough to confirm it with a quick google , but isn't the American one called an Opossum?

the O's silent.
#44 to #31 - castial (10/25/2013) [-]
The O is not silent, its pronounced how its spelled but people call it possum just as they call a Hippopotamus a hippo,

yes, but still spelled as such

This possum was having a sleep in some boxes in my shed, my brother was pulling a box down and the possum in the box fell on him. In the PIC he's hiding in the corner.

Here in New Zealand its a national sport to kill as many possums (the cuddly kind) as possible by any means necessary, and completely legal.
User avatar #142 to #15 - georgeojffs (10/25/2013) [-]
And you get ********* of money for their fur. I have about 5 friends who trap possums and are rich bastards
User avatar #60 to #15 - myaccountisnew (10/25/2013) [-]
That reminds me of the things some Texans will do to rabbits. Apparently, you just shine your headlights on them and they freeze up, and you can do anything and they won't run, so some people get creative with the killing, like running them over or beating them with a tire iron. Also all totally legal.
User avatar #152 to #60 - revanthewin (10/25/2013) [-]
Actually what you're thinking of is deers, and no, that's not how people hunt them. That's how people total their cars while driving from Houston to Austin in the middle of the night.
User avatar #198 to #152 - myaccountisnew (10/26/2013) [-]
No, I was not thinking of deer.

Opossums and Possums are different, aren't they? Correct me if I'm wrong. We have the same kind of Possums as Australia. Even though they look cuddly, they still **** **** up.
User avatar #12 - Soviet Savior (10/25/2013) [-]
Actually in america its spelled "Opossum". why the extra O? because when you see it you probably say something like "O **** ! That ugly thing was dead like 2 minutes ago."
