A little bit of everything from beta down. It's damn near impossible to categorize in neat boxes, especially because they can change.

I'm a true Gamma. I never saw the point of following or submitting. Social rules only exist if you allow them I frequently get away with things simply by not caring or not even considering failure. Alpha and Gamma are equivalent socially because the resulting effect is the same

I guess I'm gamma. but I'm not "edgy" or a hipster. I just don't give a ****. I don't reject social rules. I just don't give a ****. I don't give a **** about what I wear, as long as I don't feel ridiculous. I don't give a **** what people think about me. When it comes to other people and their thoughts, I just don't care. I form my own opinions, and I will listen to the opinions of others, but that doesn't mean I'll take them to heart. I still don't feel I follow any of these, but I'd say I'm closest to gamma. there are probably a lot of people like me. I get the feeling there are a lot of people like me in that matter.

pic unrelated.

This idea in general was originaly presented in the book written by Aldous Huxley "A Brave New World" that was published in 1932 which presents the idea of a controled utopia where the society is devided into seperate levels of groups depending on how much they contribute to society, humans are grown in labs as test tube babies and are brainwashed as children to accept and enjoy the role they are put in. Its actually a really interesting piece of literature... not that anyone on FunnyJunk read.

I guess a lot of us had to read for school.
The only difference being that Omega is replaced by epsilon, and that they're ******* retarted

That's genuinely one of my favourite books. I liked the idea of a dystopia that everyone criticised at time by people who described it as horrific, then, the very same people proceeded to create the very society Huxley warned us about.

Also the whole John/Lenina 'relationship' was about as funny as it was sad. Especially after he kills himself.

I am absolutely a delta. I have no drive, I have no ambition, I have no competitive spirit. I would be utterly content with a boring job as an office drone.

I'd like to say I'm Gamma, but I'm probably Omega.

Gamma here.
I'm not a pretentious and self-absorbed hipster, though. I like whatever I like disregarding tags/genres/etc. and don't feel "superior", that's just extremely stupid. Eveyone is special (or un-special) to the same degree and no one is ever better than the rest. I only reject the things I truly disagree with because of personal beliefs (while not being a total dick about it), not "all mass culture" for the sake of being edgy. I don't understand why so many people feel so edgy and special, it really gets on my nerves sometimes...

let me tell you all the story of how I went from gamma to alpha. It started out in highschool, I was fat, nervous, socially awkward, never had a girlfriend, spent all my time on wow and my friends were just as awkward as me. One day I decided enough was enough. I went to american eagle and bought 4 outfits, I went home, cut my hair and cancelled my wow subscription. The next day, I went to school in my new outfit, found the first hot chick I could see. I decided now was the time. I walked right up to her and said "I don't know you, and you don't know me, but you look so good right now, it's throwing off my concentration. This is a problem. Fortunately for both of us I see a solution, I'm taking you out next friday, doesn't matter where. We are going to have the best night of your life, and you won't forget a minute of it." Hard rejection. Her friends saw, one of her friends, a brunette BABE just kinda stared at me a bit. She was biting her lip. Without standing there like a fool who just suffered defeat, I turned to her brunette friend and said "Warm up is over, now sweetie, when do you want me to pick you up?" Our date was spectacular. fast forward a couple weeks, the sex is great, the dates are wonderful, I don't even miss WoW. On the inside I was still nervous, on the outside I was the definition of confident. I started hitting the gym, I hated exercise but damnit it was my time to go alpha, I lost 60 pounds in 8 months, expanded my wardrobe, and graduated a mans man, with a HOT girlfriend, an increased group of friends, and an invitation to a bitching after party. Call me a douche all you want, but don't be fooled, life on top rocks. Saying that kind of person is dumb and has no soul is a cop out, it's your excuse to not make the hard choice.
