I liked Jeniffer Garner, Michael Clark Duncan and especially Colin Farrell in Daredevil, but casting Ben Affleck as the hero was just idiotic. He's the worst main stream actor out there, he never goes into character, always does that stupid mouth-little-bit-opened thing with his face and for some reason his chin really pisses me off too. That's the worst part of him being cast as Batman, you'll still see his mouth and chin so you'll always recognize him.
If anything, they should have made Affleck the director of the next film, with Snyder and Nolan producing. As for Batman, how about Ryan Gosling? I think he'd be pretty interesting as both Bruce Wayne and Batman.

I'd totally love Bronson as batman! Oops, I mean Tom Hardy.

I know he was bane, but he'd actually be a great batman too.

Personally, Bane was my favorite villain in the trilogy. But this man made for one hell of a Joker.

Ben Affleck as batman is more like George Clooney as batman.

Everyone knew it would suck, it sucked harder than everyone expected.

I wanna see a movie based off of something else where every single cast member is chosen by the fans - and then it's really really bad. Because fans aren't casting directors.

When I see Affleck as Batman I wont see Batman I wil lse Affleck, thats the problem. Usually you dont do that with superhero movies 'cos their faces are to known and you cant make the audince see for e.g Batman but rather the one who plays it. Ledger had been masked, unlike Affleck which will e but not all the time... Anne as catwoman was a disaster for me, she just blended in the movie like the guys in the back

The problems with this movie start with Zack Snyder as the director, not casting Ben Affleck as the Batman.

all we should hope for is that Ben Affleck can teach Snyder how to shoot a ******* movie on top of not sucking as Batman

since we're comparing every batman film in existance, i didnt like the 89 burton batman film. the joker had no motive, no plan, and really just came off as silly and non threatening. and while i love jack nicohlson, i felt he was just being jack, and didnt really have a character to act out.

I think that precisely what the Joker is. A guy without a plan or motivation, he ***** around and makes everyone's lives worse just for ***** and giggles.

I'm just pissed off because I heard they were looking for someone to play an older Batman.

Got my hopes up thinking it'd be a film based on the Dark Knight Returns or something.

**whatwhen rolled a random image posted in comment #4 at but is it? ** shut the hell up about heath doing good job as joker, joker isnt supposed to wear ******* make up he looks like that cuz he fell in some chemicals, nolan did worst batman movies in history of mankind he completely destroyed whole story line and recreated villains for popularity which sucks balls. burtons batman (1989) was the best and will always stay so. and jack nicholson is the best joker!
only thing what nolan did good was batman begins

Uh yeah, no. It's an unwritten truth that Mark Hamill's Joker is the best Joker. Both Nicholson and Ledger did a great job on representing two different Joker's, Nicholson being a wacky ******* crazy Joker, and Ledger being the realistic, sadistic psycho Joker. But they both get trumped in comparison to the original, animated Mark Hamill Joker.

I know that. And Nicholson did a great job on being that wacky ******* crazy Joker, he gave you that feeling how this is pretty much what the Joker is. But I also loved Ledger's performance as a more realistic, darker Joker. Nolan tried something different, and that's making a superhero movie that felt realistic and I think he did a great job, at least on the first two movies. The Dark Knight Rises was meh. Bane was a ******* boring enemy, Tom Hardy is a good actor, and you can tell he gave his best when performing Bane's role, but jesus, the character itself was so boring in the movie. It just didn't have that something what the first two movies had.

nolan just made them popular to gain ******** of money from those movies, nothing bad about it, but its going out of source which isnt good. i wouldnt say ledgers joker was realistic in any way, but it shouldnt
about bane oh my that was the worst im ashamed to admit i paid 7$ to see that **** in theater. seriously wtf with that old man with prostate cancer voice
im not even sure if im making any sense here but i hope u understand (havent slept in 32 hours now)

Dude, it was pretty inevitable that they'd stray away from the source when you make a movie that aims to be more realistic. And even when superhero movies are not made to be realistic most of them take very little from the comics, like look at the original Spider-Man movie trilogy. To my understanding, those barely followed the comics, and still everyone loved them, or you know, loved the first two. Third movie was (once again) meh.
What's up with the third movie of a superhero trilogy almost always being the ********* one, anyways? Like the aforementioned DKR, Spider-Man 3, and then we have X-Men 3, Iron Man 3, all those movies sucked balls in comparison to their prequels.

maybe so, but fans would love movie which would go if not all then almost all from comics.
x-men 3 was entertaining imo, spiderman 3 sucked terrible once again im ashamed i watched it in cinema, but iron man 3 was pretty damn good. but yes in most cases even not just super hero movies sequels gets worse and worse

I like the older joker better. I can't remember his name for the life of me, but I just grew up on the older batman movies. Plus, Heath was written a VERY good part in the movie. Being a good actor can only go so far if you have a **** character

I will say this. I loved heath ledgers character. But i did not like him as a "joker". But nolans universe of batman was way different. I really didn't like many of the villains. Even bane annoyed the living hell out of me. but the movie series was good. and if you accept it as an alternate universe batman. (cause thats been done to hell and back) it was a good triology. Just have to get over what you wanted and know in your heart should have been for the villains.

Yeah. Many consider his to be the best joker but...his was the best -dark- Joker. The really homicidal, chaotic evil one. The comic book Joker(depending on the series) was more about having a laugh in whichever way he could. Like when they made a Hulk crossover, Joker lead him through the city firing a rocket launcher at him. Why? because it was funny cuz the Hulk destroyed the city for him.

To be honest, while Ledger's portrayal of The Joker was unique and dark, I didn't like it too much. It felt too dark, too terroristy, just too evil. Where was the comedy that the Joker has a part of in his schemes? Just because you're a crazy villain doesn't mean you need to go out and blow up a hospital.
