If you need your cat to wag its tail when its happy... just no. You obviously cant read cats. Each animal is different and expresses itself differently. Think about how we as humans express emotion. Now imagine that animals expressions are how their body poises, and voila, you now have 100 different poses to memorize.

You can tell a cat's emotions by its tail movements, if it's strait up, the cat is happy, if the tail is being whipped around, unhappy, if the tail is between the legs, the cat is scared. Simple stuff.

Any animal won't enjoy it if you rub them wrong, but I will admit cats are much more touchy.
Also, if you know anything about cats you CAN tell their emotions by their tail.
My cat always greets me when I come home by rubbing all over me and purring and meowing high-pitched.
Cleaning the litter box isn't fun, but I have three cats and none of them have EVER had an accident.
It's not hard to play with a cat unless you like to use your hands, which is basically training them to attack hands.

I just had to point it out.

My gf has trained her cat just fine.. they even sing together, and by sing my gf starts singing, and then pauses, and her cat meow's, and she continues, and pauses again and it goes on like that

she also calls her cat by her name and she meow's and comes running, its pretty awesome

Maybe because you're spamming it like a bot out of hell. Just mix it up a little, throw in a joke every now and then. I've seen this same comment on a good 5 posts now.

Get a cat flap, the cat will never urinate or **** inside, get a dog flap and you'll never see it again.

I disagree. I've had 2 dogs run away on me, and they either returned, or didn't stray far.

My cat does a bunch of these already.

1. She doesn't mind how I pet her as long as I'm petting her
2. She doesn't wag her tail, but she meows differently and usually points at what she wants.
3. She always runs to me whenever I get home, or if she's outside she greets me at the gate of my complex.
and 5. She uses the bathroom outside.

When my cat wants in the house she knocks, and if she wants food or something else she has to stand on her hind legs and touch her nose to my palm before she gets it.
