User avatar #152 - missrainbowdash (07/28/2013) [-]
what if you get new armor and it's shining? no one liked the intentional holes in your jeans fad.

Is it me or does Pussy Knight sound like a good name for a Pussy Riot tribute band?
#24 - yourinvisiblegf (07/28/2013) [-]

Or y'know, some knight who got that armor as a 0.1% drop from the hardest boss in the game world
#123 - worried (07/28/2013) [-]
or just isnt hit
#128 to #123 - captnpl (07/28/2013) [-]
Then he's never been in a tough fight
#176 to #128 - worried (07/28/2013) [-]
or he has never met a worthy opponent
#178 to #176 - captnpl (07/28/2013) [-]
Then he hasn't tested his metal properly.
#183 to #178 - worried (07/28/2013) [-]
or he knows exactly how strong he is, but will not give his opponent the dishonor of anything less than his 100%... so he is doomed to wander the world without a nick in his armor looking for that one fight that can end his search

He couldn't have become the best and held the title without dents (no pun intended). His first dent would come from his struggle to overcome his mentor. His second would come from a rival that was inspired by his success and made preparations would strike at his weaknesses. A third Dent may be an enraged friend or relative that strikes at him emotionally(pun intended). His final dent would come after he becomes either relaxed in his superiority or frail in his old age and receives a challenge for which he was not prepared. His ability to recover from these challenges and continue on in spite of them shows what he's made of. It happened to Batman, it must be true.

or hes had more than one suit of armor and the armor that hes wearing now is the last one that he has needed to buy
#261 to #260 - captnpl (07/29/2013) [-]
Then he has yet to test that metal
#262 to #261 - worried (07/29/2013) [-]
not HIS metal
#263 to #262 - captnpl (07/29/2013) [-]
Metal that belongs to him = his metal
#265 to #263 - worried (07/29/2013) [-]
so his suit is what really isnt tested.... not the person
User avatar #97 - oljaytoo (07/28/2013) [-]
Or the armour is never tested because he's just that good
#89 - tuhtuh (07/28/2013) [-]
I understand the picture literally means metal, but the real life application now would be mettle, we aren't testing our steal buy our resolve
#90 to #89 - tuhtuh (07/28/2013) [-]
but, not buy
User avatar #79 - swagloon (07/28/2013) [-]

User avatar #208 - anonymoose (07/28/2013) [-]
What if he's so elite that he's never been touched and keeps his armour in good condition?
#65 - John Cena (07/28/2013) [-]
It's a wordplay you taters. "A knight in shining armor is a man who never had his mettle truly tested."
User avatar #37 - Gandalfthewhite (07/28/2013) [-]
or he's like achilles where he's so good he's never hit
User avatar #28 - zeroxnight (07/28/2013) [-]
so the sensitive guy that girls want who will listen to her and do all the things she wants as her perfect man is actually just a pussy. and so is that knight in shining armor. makes total sense
#19 - broorb (07/28/2013) [-]
would it not be "mettle"? or is that the joke
would it not be "mettle"? or is that the joke
User avatar #22 to #19 - taurnil ONLINE (07/28/2013) [-]
I'd say it's mettle too. But it does come down as a joke when you say metal, so...
User avatar #51 to #19 - GoReMoTe (07/28/2013) [-]
It probably works best when the quote is said aloud
