who takes two trains and two busses to school everyday, especially at 14 with no money on them. Also, how do you forget and then remember something so important that happened in your day

It takes 2 hours for me to get to school
2 hours, 2 busses and 1 train (south side to north side)
I'm also from Chicago so I can relate to OP

In Australia a Police Officer is required to approach an unattended minor no matter what the situation. I've given children who have missed transport a ride home many times so... **** that cop.

they don't have to help people, all they have to do is uphold the law.

They're not binded to help people. A guy could be dying on the other side of the street by a heart attack or a stroke and he's not obligated to help. It's been ruled in a Supreme Court case.

Lol I've gotten a ride to the skate park from a police officer. He saw my friend and i walking and just asked us where we were going and gave us a ride. It's not like their patrol days are filled with things to do. Half the time their just cruising around in their car anyways. The cop in this post was just an asshole i guess.
