Bananas ripe faster when they are together because the hormone that causes them to ripe is a gas. And they are all sensitive to the hormones of other bananas. If you seperate them they won't be affected by the hormones of the other bananas.

If you want to keep you white wine cold without diluting it with ice then put some frozen grapes into the glass.

2nd one works, but it takes much longer and the popcorn comes out burnt and it tastes like **** .

With any of those bubbly drinks, just put a tiny amount of sugar in it and its sizzling and foaming and bubbling again.

I've tried the popcorn trick before, the kernels exploded with so much force they obliterated my bowl.

I was told you were supposed to put a wet paper towel directly on or below the kernels, but i have never tried it.

guessing it provides multiple nucleation sites, kinda like mentos dropped into soda.

I kept reading the first one as "when you are cookie" and I didn't get it.

Bananas with a lot of green on them are gross and bitter. They're much better with some brown freckles on them. This is when they're just ripe enough to be sweet and not taste like bitter **** .

#122 - creepyunclebob (06/25/2013) [-]

the cold butter won't spread on toast.

solution: don't put it in the ******* fridge.
User avatar #6 to #5 - hemming (06/24/2013) [-]
But it will go bad..
User avatar #9 to #6 - ACanadian (06/24/2013) [-]
Butter will stay for quite awhile when it's not in the fridge. How do you think people kept butter before refrigeration was invented?

Though, it will last much longer if refrigerated.
User avatar #14 to #9 - hemming (06/25/2013) [-]
They salted it a lot more than we do today though..
User avatar #7 to #6 - Seventeen (06/24/2013) [-]
incorrect. i don't know how long it takes you to go through your butter but i never put mine in the fridge for the very reason that it goes hard. it has never gone off on me and i have nice soft smooth butter. i run out every couple of weeks. job done.
#12 to #7 - John Cena (06/25/2013) [-]
Salted butter lasts longer.
Unsalted will sometimes go off in 2 weeks outside.

Sometimes it's so cold that the butter is still hard outside.
