Ok. Lemme tell you a few things I know about this dude.

First of all he's the head of his own church.
He takes all the money off his followers so they can be "relieved" of their eartly possesions and material burdens. He was once asked why he owned over 20 rolls royce's to which he answered: "I want to show how meaningless possessions are."

You're right, this guy does know his stuff, he's a ******* billionaire and all he has to do is give a few spiritual speeches every month.

On a side note. My dad runs a media company that specialize in data storage and media conversion. He secured the contract with osho's church (I **** you not) and during one of the meetings with his representatives (my dad never actually met him)
he swears blind this guy was ******* about inside his head.
He's not a religious or spiritual person and coming from him it sounds pretty ******* scary.

Thats not true.......... he had 93 rolls Royces ...and 53 million dollars in his Swiss bank account. keep in mind this was the 60's long before all the billionaires of our time.
my dad and mom were followers of his, they say that he changed lives and what not. i honestly can say that he changed many people. but its very strange cause most of his disciples worshiped him like a god. i mean they literally built him a city, they slaved day and night.

there are many aspects and ways to look at this guy. some people claim his associates used him to make money and the bank account was actually theirs. and he was a escape goat.

I honestly what to make of him, i grew up surrounded by his books and writings. so i know for a fact he has some good stuff, stuff that can help you. but never get too caught up in it. people like him can be very dangerous or very helpful.

While I know nothing about the guy, this is a great quote. Have you ever noticed that you love something (like say, a landscape) and it puts you involuntarily in awe? Well then perhaps you have also noticed that if you look at landscapes only to get that thrill of the awe, you don't find it. Love is in seeing the mountains in the horizon, not touching them. The sublime surprises, you cannot obtain it by seeking it.
