Reveal was to show new features, E3 will be to show off new games and gaming capability.

I'll copy and paste my previous comment.

MS just had a bad focus in they're conference, I don't think any less the people that like the console (generally) but MS themselves are in the bad.

www.youtube.com/watch?v=KbWgUO-Rqcw

TV, sports, CoD < Real Games

First impressions count, I WOULD have about just showing off the new features but the fact that they played the CoD card at the end just shows what kind of market they're going for.

However I think the biggest problem is that they're conference was only one hour whereas Sony's was 2 hours. Sony went through Hardware for half an hour and then the hour and a half was about games. Where MS focused on apps, Sony took just about 5 minutes to say, oh yeah you can use Netflix and the internet and share videos, let's get to the good stuff!

I think people that are still going to buy it have a right to complain, I mean personally I'm going with the PS4, but for those people who want the actually good games coming to XB1 I feel bad for, because they are going to trapped in a community where the majority is CoDfags and Sportsdudes.

Yeah, you're forgetting that Sony didn't even show the damn console during their reveal. And because of that, everyone complained that they focused too much on games rather than the actual tech specs. So MS did the complete opposite. And now we're complaining? Hell, it was announced weeks before the reveal that the CoD reveal would be at the end of the Xbox announcement, it's shocking why there's so much surprise about it.

The gaming community is too fickle. I wouldn't be surprised if half of the people complaining here are the same faggots that whine about WoW every new release.

Are you kidding? Sony focused a 1/4 of their 2 hour conference of specs, they just didn't show the box. While MS focused 3/4 of their 1 hour conference on Apps

Uh, yeah. That's what I said. And that's what people complained about. You know that Microsoft reveal everyone is quoting and jumping on the hate bandwagon with? The one that goes TV TV TV TV SPORTS SPORTS SPORTS SPORTS COD COD COD COD. Yeah. There's one for the Sony reveal too.

www.youtube.com/watch?v=0rJDn0jRnUQ

Either FJ is full of newfags that are just finding out all the info here on FJ about the Xbox instead of ******* FINDING IT ON THEIR OWN or the gaming community is full of fickle, unreasonable idiots.

Well no that video isn't the same, there's an XB1 abridged version by that guy, but the TV TV TV SPORTS SPORTS COD video is actual footage on people saying at the conference and no footage is used twice in it

They're both hate videos, the point remains the same. It's this instigation that started this ridiculous bandwagon. Hell, the few people saying that they'll "wait until E3" have the right idea, because the only reason MS repeated TV TV SPORTS SPORTS COD a billion times was possibly to keep the conference at a decent length so they can keep the good stuff under wraps until E3 when it MATTERS. For example, the new video game by Bungie, Destiny, is confirmed to be revealed at E3. That **** looks BOMB. The **** would they reveal that at their own damn reveal for? Why wouldn't they use it to kick ass at E3 where Sony and Nintendo is gonna be?

People need to think about this **** and do more research. That's all I have to say.

Well clearly somebody didn't watch the Sony conference as that's when Destiny was revealed.

And MS's conference shows what kind of people they're marketing to (or at least the majority of people), as I said above. I wouldn't want to be in a community with a bunch of CoD players.

First. Impressions. Count.

My bad, I misread an article I was researching myself. There's a gameplay reveal at E3 for Destiny, of course its actually for Sony, not Microsoft.

And, no. Just no. Whatever crazy idea gave you the impression that one little conference determines everything about a system just goes to show how narrow the walls in your mind must be. There are more games than just CoD for a system that so much money was put into. CoD is just one of fifteen confirmed games, eight of which are brand new series, as said at the microsoft reveal.

You can tell everyone your closed minded opinions until you're blue in the face. First impressions aren't everything, buddy, and that way of thinking will lead to regret further down the line.

They aren't everything sure, but they count, because if it's any indication where they are going then hoo boy. But yes, I agreed with another person that we will have to wait and see, but my money's still on Sony.

Place your bets, then, because if either of the reveals indicate anything, its exactly how much they PLAN on revealing. Reveals are a snack. Events like E3 are the main course. Sony likes to spoil its consumers with all the snack food it has to offer, but when the main course comes by, will our appetite be as wet? MS gives us just a small appetizer before dishing out the big meal, and it will either leaving us incredibly satisfied or completely starved.

Unfortunately all the little kiddies are spoiled and want to have all the snacks before mealtime.

"Pizza in the morning, pizza in the evening, pizza at supper time, when pizza's on a bagel, you can eat pizza anytime" - Bagel Bites commercial

Now just replace "Pizza" with quality games, and "bagel" with playstation

But this new Xbox One.. Maybe not.

Both are sides (from my perspective) are equally disappointed in their consoles reveals, and are trying to lol at the other side. In the end, both literally have the same specs; neither are backwards compatible, neither have to be always connected to internet or on, both 8gb of ram, 8 core AMD CPUs, and generally it's a preference between wanting to play primarily/mostly games (PS4) or you want a full entertainment experience AND play games. (Xbox One)

I'll probably still get it, depending on if they don't have all these faggy supposed features.
It seems as if they're not telling us the straight truth so they can sell some consoles and THEN be like oh wait we forgot you gotta pay 19.99 a month to be able to plug in your console.

And all we wanted to do was play games.

I recently built my new gaming PC myself. High-end, runs everything except Crysis 3 on highest quality that I've played so far. It sucks because, even after saying goodbye to my Xbox360 and all consoles, I still feel like defending the Xbox One. But it's just so difficult.

"EA and Microsoft have began a partnership.." **** this. I'm out.

I have ALWAYS preferred the Xbox and Microsoft as a company over PlayStation and Sony and I was already saving money to buy the new Xbox but after the press conference I will be going with the PlayStation unless serious changes are made to the Xbox.
