Pop the top off and pour it through the cage

you can probably get a piece of rubber stripping around the cap, find a way to get a grip around it so you can twist through the top opening. once you get the cap off its easy mode...put a tube or straw in there and enjoy

Sometimes they lock bottles in cages for raffle prizes at clubs. IE winner gets the key to open the cage. Maybe he made one of those?

Just a thought.

It seems the openings are bigger than the cap. So just pull the cap through the opening far enough to pour, pour it in another bottle and your colleague just wasted a whole lot of time!

Well, that is dastardly. I have spent at least 5 minutes trying to think of a way to pop that open without having to take it out of the cage. I got nothing.

Well the bars look at least big enough to get part of your hand in there. Could probably take a knife, open it, then tilt the bottle to pour into a glass.

simple, just get a grinder with a cut off wheel and you can cut the top section right off without damaging the bottle.
