So..... Maybe I'm missing something, but is there a large room, or a number of them, that for some reason pictures weren't taken of? After all, a fallout shelter that consists of a 2x2x9ish room, and nothing more, doesn't exactly seem practical.

might not be so much of a fall out shelter as it just a regular old bomb shelter, as in like go inside while they drop non nuclear bombs and then come out when the bombs stop.

I dream of someday having a house and being able to afford building a fallout shelter just for the same of having an extra room that I can treat as either an underground den, guestroom, or a clubhouse for my kids.
That, or somewhere to **** the wife and no one else knows about.
