i always felt like spider-man was the most "down to earth" marvel hero.

i remember there was an episode of the 90's animated series, where he was about to give up being spider-man, but got a letter from a girl who was a big fan. he went to visit, lost his memory, and this girl helped him to get it back. at the end, he decided to keep being a hero, and as he swung away, the building the little girl lived in had a sign in front that said "Hospital for Terminally ill children".
