I'm an average build, so I could wear most costumes and pull it off, but I cosplay as the merchant from resident evil 4 anyway.

I've always wanted to go to Comic-Con. Sucks that I live clear at the other end of the country. Oh well. If I ever go to a Con, I'd love to go dressed as either Altair, or Ageha from Psyren (mainly because of how simple his costume would be, plus he has a variety of different looks throughout the story).

The vast majority of folks aren't like this at my local con. You're missing out on some great costumes, and not a few costumed babes.   
Okay, there is one guy who shows up in spiderman footie pyjamas every year, but that's Fat Apollo and he's an institution by this point.

i remember when in middle school i looked exactly like a tiny urahara and made a full handmade costume and sword and an actual hat (not that paper made **** like everyone has) and wore it every convention.....but then i outgrew the costume and feel ashamed
