My dog somewhat does this, not as extreme though, its a territorial thing, he doesn't need to be hungry, as soon as you're near it, he goes all "What the **** do you want, ******? My food? Well you cant eat my food if it's already eaten"

Hmm that is odd, but in dogs it occurs more often (not all the time) and is more a pack mentality thing. If your dog has a strong rooted understanding that you are its master, sometimes it will not eat unless you do first, as alpha wolves always get first bite of the kill.

sometimes people use them to say what they're thinking, or just because....

i guess you'll never know exactly what the image implies unless you ask.

Here is a cat GIF.

I have a dog. A pure boxer as a matter of fact. Her name is Lucy. She is 10 years old. In dog years she is very elderly. I love my pet. She is slowing down in her years, but every day I wake up she is still there and always happy to see me ( and I am happy to see her). How will I compensate if I wake up one day and she doesn't wake up? She is the longest living pet I have ever had.

When I was a child having a pet it seemed simple, but now as an adult sense I have had her for so long how can I deal with an elderly pet and then with the possible death of her?

It's funny, this cat has more manners than the majority of the human race.

This cat I acquired yesterday refuses to eat unless i put the food in my hand and offer it to him. If I try to feed him with something else, he will pick up the food and put it on or in my hand. Pic related (It's the cat)

Least you don't have to worry about the damn thing begging for food all the time. Then again I don't think cats really do that at all. It's usually just dogs.

What if you left for a weekend? Would you hire someone to eat with your cat?

**mrloki rolled a random image posted in comment #109 at Bubbles killed my pokemon ** My cat has a similar issue, I like to call it "need for someone watching her back while she eats disorder" her food is in the kitchen, she goes to my room or my mom's room and meows until someone follows her, then she goes to the kitchen and eat. If we leave before she stops eating, she goes after and meows until we come back and keep watching...

My cat will wait until we have dinner and then sit on the other side of the table on an extra chair we have. He will stay there with us until the end of dinner.
