And that's a good thing.

And they will never know the tragedy of the notice, "this memory card is corrupt and must be formatted."

I read two of the mangas, I don't have any more
Do you possibly know where I can read them online?

Same for gamecube, I remember I would try to play all of dragon ball z sagas in one day because I couldn't save.

I sold my PS2 2 years ago, but still kept my memory card........I miss the good days.

If I was flicked on the head for every time I saw a post that resembled something along those lines, my head would be a splattered, bloody mess on the floor.

Every 90's kids post makes me cringe.

I remember for my PSOne I didn't have a memory card for almost a year after I got one. I would waste an entire day trying to beat a game before my mom would tell me to turn it off and go to bed. If I didn't I would have to go through and try to beat the game all over again.

Dear God! I remember how fascinated I was to hear that some games didn't need the all important memory card! I only had a ps consoles at first. GIF for that moment when your main memory cards went missing.

I know how you feel. When I first got my gamecube I had no memory card. I swear I unlocked marth on Super Smash Bros. Melee at least 50 times

User avatar #54 to #50 - dragostarc (04/10/2013) [-]
I used the ones in the gamecube case, but i had one of those third party memory cards that were thinner but as long as a ps1 or ps2 card

I did when I'd switch memory cards. I didn't leave them out.
User avatar #23 - sirbendalot (04/09/2013) [-]
That's the truth. When I first got Dragon Ball Z Budokai, I played the **** out of that game. I could never beat Frieza (I was 5 chill) and I never had a memory card. So, every day, I fought through Raditz, Saibamen, Nappa, Vegeta, Recoome, Captain Ginyu (twice) and Frieza THREE ******* TIMES. When I finally beat it, I didn't turn my Playstation off for two weeks until my new dad got me a memory card. I will always remember that.

in my day we didn't have a rumble controller. We had a rumble pak that felt like 100 pounds after playing so long. Didn't get that till C-c-c-c-combo breaker and barrel roll days.
#132 to #129 - apollotaren (04/10/2013) [-]
Beat me to the punch by about five minutes.

These things were freaking awesome. Made the controller heavy enough to beat my friends with when they beat me.

I was a bit of a sore loser.

having fun, wasn't hard, unless you had that ******* memory card.

My Dark Cloud 2 disc is too scratched to load the cut scene ending chapter 5, and now every time I see a PS2, a little part of me dies.

I played the ps1 for like 6 months without a memory card... Had to wait until christmas to make a wish for one.. You know how hard it is to complete a game, without a memory card?!

poor you. how about when there was no video games in every house?
did anyone ever think that perhaps there were(and still are) many kids that like to go out and do anything but play video games?
I'd much rather be riding a horse, my dirtbike, or just in the shop making something.
User avatar #46 to #43 - fishtacos (04/10/2013) [-]
And that is called a difference in perspective, something that most humans today lack.
User avatar #218 to #46 - blackshot (04/15/2013) [-]
in fact, I know of 10 people that spent this weekend playing video games.
I was in my shop all day today fixing my backhoe and greasing it.
spent 75% of saturday playing with my dogs and shooting birds in the tree tops with a pellet gun. the other 25% was ordering parts.

friday night after school was spent cutting 2 cord of wood, all rounds by axe.
