Julius Caesar was stabbed by multiple people and "Brutus", was one of his friends who also stabs him and so Julius says, "Et Tu Brutus" as in "You too Brutus?" for his friend had also participated in the stabbings.

Brutus is Ceasar's son. The phrase is "Tu quoque, Brute, fili mi?". Which means: "You too, Brutus, my son?"
