The worst part about this is not that i only have 103 hours on my most played steam game, it's that i still don't have a life.

Skyrim is the reason my gaming backlog is at 32 games currently. I keep dropping them and heading back into it. Even on console with no mods, the adventure never gets boring (And I still haven't completed all quest lines).

I've played over 500 hours of Fallout 3/New Vegas.

Also, while I'm on the subject of Bethesda games, I once played Skyrim for 50+ hours straight (I was awake for over 70 hours).

My top 3 steam games (for hours) are:

1st: Skyrim - 337 hours
2nd: Garry's Mod - 189
3rd: Dark Souls - 118

Though I used to play Mabinogi (pic related) a **** ton, so I wouldn't be surprised if I had about 5,000 hours of that or more.

I miss my guild.

And then they switched over to the 'dynamic combat' ****. That pretty much killed it.

Over the last few years, I have invested at least a thousand dollars into that game. Sometimes I'd quit, but I always came back--you can't just stop playing something you've put that much time, money and effort into.

Loved that game to pieces while it lasted, but it's definitely on the decline now. Really quite sad.

Talking about the good old days has given me many nostalgia feels. All the hours upon hours spent rafting, laughing when a goblin killed one of your guild members and screaming when it turned around and killed you too.

Maybe I'll give it another shot, see if I can stomach this 'dynamic combat' ********. For old time's sake.

Haven't been a 'warrior' since before the continents split and Elves and Giants became playable. Went Elven archer and never went back.

Part of the problem with Dynamic combat is that it won't let me just spam Crash Shot while rafting anymore. 'forcing the player to diversify' is such ********. Lemme play how I want to play, yanno?

Yeah.. I think the only ONLY good thing about it is that people can't windmill spam quite as hard in duels...not that anybody duels or EvGs anymore.

Sigh.

Not EvGing anymore? Used to be hard-pressed to walk through Dunbarton square (on anything other than the market channel, obviously) without getting caught up in all-out brawl. But that was awhile ago, so maybe things have changed even more than I thought.

Awesome game and all but how do you manage to get that many hours out of it? After I beat it the first time I just couldn't go back, not even to the DLC. I guess after I knew and saw the entire world/story it just got dull for me. I put 162 hours into it. Tried to go back, wish I could enjoy it again like I used to when I first played it.

I added a few mods and played through the thieves guild, The Companions, and The Dark Brotherhood at the end of the main story line. After that i did the Vampire DLC. And im just now making a new character to play through my second time :). It may seem like a lot but Skyrim isn't even my top played game on Steam haha.
