That annoys me, because I actually had severe OCD so bad that I couldn't even function in society. I still get the urges every now and then, but it's basically gone now. Now to deal with my hypnogogic hallucinations...

I think I may have some sort of OCD, not because of anything about neatness, but because sometimes I start getting extremely uncomfortable if something touches one side of my body and I can't match it on the other side, to the point where I occasionally need to run out of class and spend a few minutes outside calming down. I should go to a psychiatrist about it.

I use OCD as an adjective because whenever I say "anal" some **** has to laugh about it.

Usage: "I'm really OCD about loading the dishwasher, so please put the forks in one tray and spoons in the other, and make sure they all face up."

And there's nothing wrong with that, that's the evolution of language.

I hate that people sometimes think OCD is a good thing, I was diagnosed with it when I was 15. I couldn't eat or sleep or talk or even hear people talk. I was always thinking about horrible things happening to me, the walls of my mind were collapsing on me, the anxiety and constant horror that I felt started making think of suicide. I just felt that I will stay tortured like that forever. Only after like 3 month of medication did I start to get better and start feeling like myself again.
tl;dr You don't want to have OCD.

i have an ocd when it comes to uneven numbers... it ***** with my mind and i have to make whatever it was even... for instance if someone shot me 3 times i would literally shoot myself just to make it even....i know it would hurt BUT I HAVE TO SEE EVEN NUMBERS OR MY BRAIN HURTS UNTIL I MAKE IT EVEN.

I have OCD, but it is limited to keeping things organized, even if it requires tedious, asinine labor to get it perfect. For me, it's not a bad thing. Sure, it wastes away countless minutes but I take some delight out of organizing my things, and when I'm finished, I have a nice neat living environment worth showing off to people.

I've always had this where I feel everything is attached to strings. So if you move 180 degrees in a direction you must also move -180 afterwards. It's a tiny thing and I don't bother people with it.

Then there's this chick my friend was dating - she couldn't even walk up to my ******* street where I live because of OCD. Seriously? It was no different from all the other streets.
