Why did so many women begin to fix their earrings when he started clapping?

Clapping causes a disruption of sound waves, sound waves cause slight vibrations in everything but they are usually unnoticeable. The way that room is set up is to project sound from the stage to the entire room, so sound in the rest of the room is intensified. The slightly strong, and somewhat messed up sound wave would cause the metal of the earrings to vibrate slightly thus causing a tingling sensation in the woman's ears.

Oh and I made this up on the spot.

they are adjusting their hair or something, but not their earring. The only one actually touching their earring is at the right bottom.

It was probably a joke against women
They must have felt awkward and started fidgeting
An alternative is an insult to beauty itself
Which may be why Iron Man approves

I read the most ******** article on Yahoo by some ******** feminist prick talking about how he was a disgrace and whatnot. Why are people these days so damn stupid? You KNOW what your getting when you get goddamn Seth MacFarlane to do the Oscars. He was funny as hell. If he offends you, and you know that he does before you watch the Oscars, then don't watch.

I just don't understand why this would be any different than Family Guy or any of his work. People need to be less sensitive and realize he already crosses the line, but he wants to see how much further he can go

tl;dr: Seth Macfarlene's a Dick if you don't get the humor...big shocker...

So why did they get offended over a joke directed at a woman beater? I don't even know how the guy is still relevant.

"I know, lets hire Seth McFarlane! youths like him, right?"

"Yeah! I'm sure he'll uphold the respect and honor this event has always carried."

Asking Seth McFarlane to host and not already knowing what to expect. Honestly what kind of comedy did they think he was gonna do?
