Sean Connery had to be my favourite, when I think James Bond it would be his portrayal. Actually really enjoyed Timothy Dalton in License to kill. Pierce Brosnan was very good, and made for a witty Bond. I never really took Moore seriously as James Bond, but he stars in one of my favorite bond films (Live and Let Die). What I might be killed for is saying I don't like Daniel Craig's portrayal of Bond, but I think it was more how Bond was written as a character in the scripts for those films. He plays a more action-ey killing machine, rather than the suave, witty spy I imagine and saw with previous Bonds. Then there's George Lazenby... Yeah I just saw him as a weaker Sean Connery (sorry Lazenby).

I'm pretty sure all the bonds have been black haired or dyed their hair black but the current bond, nope, he was too much of a dick to dye his hair black.

Pierce Brosnan was a better Bond... Everyone's riding Sean Connery's dick, but he wasn't really suited for the role

Don't get me wrong, Sean Connery is cool as **** , he's just not the gentleman type. He was great in the wind and the lion and Indiana Jones... Y'know roles where he played an anti-hero or a douchebag

One of the things everyone has a different opinion on but in my eyes Pierce Brosnan will always be the best James Bond. He just looks exactly like i want Bond to look.

I still say they should make a Porfirio Rubirosa movie. He was, somewhat, the real life James Bond.

I prefer Craig to Bronson. Bronson just seemed much too soft to be Bond.

ok, this may be a stupid question but, who is the bond between sean and roger?
User avatar #96 to #86 - calawesome (02/19/2013) [-]
George Lazenby, the only Australian Bond so far, who took the role for 'On her Majesty's secret service'....Easily the most unknown Bond, but he actually wasn't terrible.

Why is Lazenby aiming at Moore?

My personal favorite was Pierce Brosnan. He was suave and brutal. Daniel Craig is like a bull in a china shop, 100% against what Flemming was originally going for in the books.

Nope, more the opposite way around with the books. In the books, Bond is more like a thug with class, which Daniel Craig performs very well. Pierce Brosnan is too soft compared to the Bond in the books.

Well also, he based the character on what he wanted to be himself. Once the reception came back about his first novels, he realized that his original Bond was not what it should be. So he made Bond more of a detective, less of a mercenary.
User avatar #98 to #95 - calawesome (02/19/2013) [-]
That's how he was originally, but after Dr. No came, Flemming changed it up so that Bond was more like Connery's, adding a strong Scottish background, and giving him more charm.

So, while you can say Craig is Flemming's original idea, Connery's is how he considered Bond to be.
